Ive found one site that actually says what i want but im not to sure about it.

I don't even think they have season one on DVD. I've seen a volume one DVD though.

I think it's the first half of season one

Just look around hard enough and you'll find it. I was able to get Clannad in a two-disk package with eps 1-23 PLUS the movie for $20 at one of those outdoor flea markets.

Sounds like you just bought a bootleg dvd, grats.

I'm not really sure. It came with all the stuff you find in a normal dvd with booklets and all. Plus the picture and sound quality is amazing. The guy selling it didn't seem to know much about it. Why skip out on a deal right?
