Mainstream anime and their overused soundtracks
-1
Anyone who watches Bleach, naruto, or One Piece will know, ESPECIALLY ONE PIECE, that each anime has their own music during certain things that happen. In Bleach, it's hard to describe but I think everyone remembers that little track that plays whenever something epic is going to happen. But I want to focus on One Piece. The question is, why do incredibly popular anime constantly re-use the same old soundtracks? When it comes to one piece, they keep using the same music that I remember from the first 100 episodes all the way to the Punk hazard Arc, like can't they hire new musicians or something? Is it like trademark or something or is it supposed to be the calling card of the show? Because I can't imagine why they don't use new music.

You definitely wouldn't want electro house or dubstep soundtracks playing while the ninjas, shinigamis and pirates are fighting now, would you?
Anywho, you've already answered your question in a way. In my opinion, I think it's a lot of work to make new soundtracks that could get to the old soundtracks' level as they have already become a part that defines the anime. I believe they do add in some new soundtracks whenever it seems fit to do so, even add some little tweaks to a few of the old famous soundtracks from the anime.

Simple answer:
Its allready popular and Making new OST cost money
I think everyone knows that One Piece anime could be done better in almost every possible way but its not.
It doesnt make sense for them to add costs on sormething that everyone allready watches.

Do you have some kind of grudge against the mainstream anime/manga industry in Japan?
The answer is 101 simple, You don't change something that is not broken. Besides the obvious cost of making a new soundtracks, why bother changing something that people are already used to and probably like hearing.
This is like when Coca-cola changed it's formula back in 1985. There was nothing wrong with the drink and people never really complained about it, but they just changed it for the sake of something new, and the public reaction to that was so negative that they had to ditch the New and go back to the classic Coca cola.

Ummm no I do NOT have a grudge against mainstream anime and also I don't think the coke to anime comparison is accurate because music is not the integral reason why we watch One Piece which means it would be alot safer to actually change where as Coke itself is the product we buy, so tampering with it could be dangerous, but no one is going to drop one piece if they change the music a bit.
And the term is "You don't fix something that's not broken" But change is a bit different, I'm not trying to ask to fix something, I'm asking why can't they add more? I'm not asking to take away the old soundtrack, just why not have a few more songs in there as the series progresses?
It's not like One Piece is not used to change, they constantly change animation, for some time they had this little intro to Gold Roger's story at the beginning of each episode, they change openings and endings, they changed the interludes of half way point of each episode. So they are used to change

Well speaking from my own opinion as an anime fan, I see no need to change it up. People become familiar with the music and then associate that piece of music with a certain situation. When that epic fighting music comes on during an anime, you know shit's going down; when that sad music comes on, well fuck.
And I'm pretty sure new music is introduced as a series progresses, like when a new antagonist appears/when characters have to fight them, or when characters visit a new location. Naruto is like that anyway, though I'm over a year behind with the series.
