[font=verdana][color=green]When it comes to bouncing boobs and tight hips, the cover pretty much speaks for itself. But, that's eroge. You're there, pretty much, for one thing. I'd like to see how it compared to other VNs of a non-echhi factor.
When it comes to anime, I like to watch anime that came from a non-eroge/erotica source, and my hentai from an eroge source. Most anime that try to make a story the main part of the former never score well with me.
Apparently you haven't read it. I for one enjoy the story and it's characters a lot and the small sex scenes are just a small bonus for me. I'll just say what Kaimax said before, don't judge a book by it's cover.
Also, dayum!! Can't wait for this!!

To makes thing easier, you should try and play the VN first, at least the prologue.

First and foremost, Majikoi is not a sex and harem oriented story.
-All the girls does not fall in love crazily with the protagonist (except for one , since the protagonist "saved" her from her miserable life)
-There's no harem competition going on.
-In the original VN, ecchi events are scarce and strictly for comedic and bonus value only.
And it's mainly about "battles and competition" between students.
And it's produced under Larc, the same studio who did Carnival Phantasm.

Still hoping for ecchi fanservice, just like the ending theme of "They are my Noble Masters". :DDon't worry, it will still retain the same level of ecchiness, but it won't be just a mindless ecchi anime.
Try reading the manga, to get a better idea how the ecchi will be "served".

I'm still playing prologue so far it's not like either steins;gate nor g senjou no maou, ah well maybe I change my opinion once I tried chris or yukie route, this is more about comedy and friendship?

For those that don't feel like reading, the first episode should give an example of what most of us expect from Majikoi. Waiting for the subs now, but it was still enjoyable even though I only understood 10-20% of the dialogue. For those that are skeptical, there weren't any ecchi scenes that I recall... though one was certainly suggestive...

I'm guessing this is omnibus, which isn't what I would've gone for.
Ep. 1: I'm seriously hoping that this is one of those series were the first episode is totally random and throws you in the middle of everything and the second episode starts from the beginning >_<
As it is now the series is just an awesome supplement to the visual novel.
Edit: Tsubame!? Lol wtf.

95% sure why Tsubame shows up, and it's not because of Majikoi S but:

uwa uwa i'm a bit confused, first of all, 3 characters I've never seen before, the two at the beggining who were injured and the last of the big 4.
The animation is average but the chara design being faithfull to the original makes it up for me.

The two at the beginning are completely new. They're originals for the anime as far as I can tell. That's the biggest hint that this may be going on an original story path. Tsubame is... well, I explained it above a few posts back. Stacy and Lee (the maids next to Azumi) are in Majikoi, but they didn't get sprites until Majikoi S.
