You do know we're talking about the manga, right? The thing where there are chapters instead of episodes.

I actually had forgotten about those two.

God, Kubo is really bad about foreshadowing way too soon. The end of volume three, I believe, foreshadows the whole Arrancar thing, and it doesn't even happen ten volumes later!

Usually when authors foreshadow things early, it means that the event foreshadowed will arrive late. It's like a mirror for foreshadowing, the closer it is to the middle the closer it will arrive, if it was on one end of the story(the beginning) then it'll arrive the same distance to the other end of the spectrum(the finale). Authors tend to use foreshadowing to allude to the ending of a story as most people already have the story set before one begins to allude to it.

I understand that, but we're talking about shonen manga here. When Kubo first foreshadowed Hollows losing their masks, it was at the end of the third volume; Arrancars didn't show up until volume 21. There was probably a difference of three years between the two, with no mention of them inbetween. If I had started reading Bleach when it first came out, I probably wouldn't have even noticed when the Arrancars first showed up that they were alluded to earlier in the story.

I'm posting this here because I don't think it warrants its own thread.

I was reading some past chapters last week, the end of the Soul Society arc and the beginning of the Arrancar arc, and it got me to thinking about Ichigo and his resemblance to Kaien, and Ichigo's father being a former shinigami.

Way back in the past, I figured that Ichigo was Kaien reincarnated. Rukia's fight with the 9th Espada dashed that idea on the rocks. But maybe, just maybe, Kaien and Ichigo were half-brothers, the father of both being Isshin, but the mothers being different. Isshin was a part of the Shiba clan, he had Kaien and then left (for whatever reason). The reason he left is why the Shiba clan was kicked out of being one of the noble houses, or whatever. Isshin goes to the human world, does whatever for however long, meets Ichigo's mom, and so on.

Are there any holes in this that anyone can point out, or does it actually make sense? Either way, I'm hoping we can get some more answers soon, not just concerning this, but every question that's out there. Fighting all the time is boring, especially when there are so many curious things.

You bring up an interesting point. It would answer why people say they look so similar, as well as fit into the story fairly well, tying things up. I read something similar a while back (forgot where), but in the end it's all just speculation. I can't think of any holes off the top of my head, but there still may be some.

I've almost given up on the plot and different ideas being explored in Bleach. I'll continue reading, just with less interest. I'm pretty much expecting fighting to go on for the next 50 or so chapters, then possibly an answer, then more fighting. Witch is a shame, as Bleach has potential in the unresolved plot points.

[size=9]Also, I'm mildly interested to see what is going to happen in the manga, few ideas where Kubo is going with the current fight.[/h]

I really hope that doesn't happen. I'm probably one of the few that doesn't like the inner hollow. To me, he was so annoying and arrogant.

But he made Ichigo stronger right?

Ichigo gains enormous power when he wears the hollow mask, and he's getting better at using it, thus giving him more power, but shouldn't he have pretty much all the power he can get from his inner-hollow? Even if Evil Ichigo took over, he shouldn't be able to beat Ulquiorra. That'd be too much of a strength gain.

I would like to see Ichigo saved, but I'd like either Ichigo's dad to do it or one of the Vizards.

I think Orihime is most likely going to play a major role in this (unfortunately). I wish she will just die.

But in all seriousness, if Kubo does something as cliche as Orihime dying and Ichigo beating Ulqui after getting all angus I will be SO pissed.

Comon people Bleach is a shounen that is copying the Dragon Ball outline. Of course Ichigo is going to somehow BS this situation some way.

the primary characters will be won...every anime is like that..
but still...ichigo lose by Ulquiorra
0
he not have inner hollow anymore
but he got his mask

I thought this was relevant since Ichigo is going Super Saian 3!

And Ishida's arm? No point to it, completely regrowable with Orihime.
