I blame the Anime, Although it started off fine, they used a filler where they meet Panther again and they battle against the dude who's offering the position in the NFL. Naturally, the DevilBats won, so therefore the conflict between the Anime and manga has appeared and the Anime was forced to finish quickly
....or the anime just lost popularity

I still haven't finished the anime or the manga but Eyeshield 21 is a really great series. Its a shame that it is coming to an end but great things must come to an end at some point right? lol.

Okay.. it's finally ended.. The "Rice Bowl" arc will be an awesome addition to this series, maybe a 2nd season, like The New Prince of Tennis?

Just read the final chapter and it was good i guess, nothing special really.
