Meet Eikichi Onizuka, a 22-year-old ex-biker. He's crude, foul-mouthed, and has a split-second temper. His unlikely goal: to be the Greatest High School Teacher in the World! Of course, the only reason he wants to be a teacher is so he can try to score with the hot students ...Before he can become a full instructor, he's got to work as a student teacher to earn his credentials. Onizuka may think he's the toughest guy on campus, but when he meets his class full of bullies, blackmailers, and scheming sadists, he'll have to prove it.

The Original one that started it all (well, there's the prequel, but it's this one that made it all famous)
After watching the Anime, it felt like parts were missing, so I searched for the manga and, as expected, it's more epic and more detailed than the Anime was. The manga actually contains a lot of things that the Anime has left out (for example, other students of 4-3 that wasn't even mentioned and some scenes that hints out feelings for each character that wasn't revealed in the Anime).
Anyways, the manga kicks ass! Although you might get annoyed at "Onidzuka" (you'll get it when you start reading) for a few 30 chapters or so.
The Manga is definitely a MUST READ. The Anime is a MUST WATCH.

Why the fuck does this manga have to be so depressing...?
Its getting to the point where they're just drawing shit out of the air to make his life suck and thats really not enjoyable to read.
The first hundred chapters were fine but now its just getting bothersome.

Anybody read Shounan Junai Gumi!?
Prequel to GTO, but it hasn't been completely translated, and if you read it, you'll understand GTO and GTO: Shonan 14 Days much better.

I also saw the anime first, but I was way more satisfied at the end by starting at the beginning of the manga.
Since my memory is pretty bad about the anime atm, I think there was a good chunk of filler in the anime after a certain point. So it would be best to start at the beginning to see how much was changed and what was left in.

The filler is the last 3 episode i think...Yeah feel the same way...I watched the Anime first like in Ichigo 100% then felt unsatisfied so i read the manga from the beginning...
But what chapter should i start if ever i wanna continue?

Hmm...I don't remember correctly but I'd say chapter 109. IIRC Mayu wasn't introduced in the anime, so that's probably the best place to start if you want to continue.

I'm surprised this is only 2 pages.
Certainly one of the best and funniest mangas. The ending, however, felt a little rushed since everything was crammed into Chapter 200... A few more couldn't have hurt.
