Most confusing anime??

Sometimes there are some animes that is so confusing, you can't understand what the heck you just saw. Sometimes storyline doesn't make sense, sometimes some details are never explained, etc. Some of these animes mess up your brains for quite long time. Let's talk about those animes.

Confusing animes for me were:

Neon Genesis Evangelion


AIR


Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo


Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

I think you should spoiler the descriptions because now I can't enjoy AIR.

It's okay. You're not missing out on much. All I liked about the anime was the Summer arc. You won't know what the summer arc is unless you watch the anime so no spoiler here :P



You're not supposed to get it. There actually is a plot, but the entire anime is intended to be complete nonsense. It's not intended to be logical. It's an anime full of random shit with somewhat of a plot.

Excel Saga is probably only confusing to us as it employs a lot of references to older anime/manga and cultural shit.

Well I'm going to say FLCL it really made no sense.

Evangelion got really confusing at the end. So I'm going to go with that for now.

Still have barely any fucking clue as to what's going on in Umineko atm.

I can't still figure out the story behind .hack//Roots. Also, I'm slightly confused with Pani Poni Dash and all its references and storyline windings.

Watching the dub probably had something to do with it, and I don't play attention to it that much while watching.

Evangelion was definitely confusing, especially towards the end. Major mind fucks.

As for Bobobo, that's not supposed to make any sense. It was made that way and intends to be completely random and crazy.

FLCL- if you thought the anime was messed up, read the manga, it makes even less sense. But this one actually makes more sense than others and can be understood relatively well.

And where is Excel Saga? That one was major crazy...

Honestly whats wrong with you people FLCL has to be one of the best animes ever, the fact that it was just a bunch of random shit was what made it so awesome.

100% agreement from me. FLCL is one of my favorite animes ever because of all the randomness. Even if it confuses you, you should still watch cause it's great.

FLCL was actually easy to understand if you got the symbolism. '.' Bobobo is supposed to be random like that. XD

Evangelion had a really weird ending I doubt many people got. As for me: Death note got pretty confusing at parts. I had to reread stuff to get it. >.>
