OK gents. Lets discuss this fuckton of a train wreck of a shitty budget.
Despite having "many discussions" with creator Hajime Isayama about the portrayal of characters, I think that they're lazy to get some gaijin actors to benefit the movie.
Also, budget. Yes budget plays an important role too. Which makes me think that's also the case.
Or. In the subtle absurd case. Having nip actors for nip power. Totally not nationalistic pride in having this many japs in a movie based on the manga where the majority characters are whitoooooo.

SNK would be awesome if it was handled by Hollywood's directors. I lost all faith in Japanese Live Action adaptions of Manga/Anime after the Death Note live action movies and Kindaichi live action TV series.

Remeber the dragonball movie? I still do. And even though it's one example, it's still there nonetheless to remind you how hollywood can fuck shit up too.

I had the onslaught of Superhero movies in mind when I was posting the idea about Hollywood handling this. Who knows? Perhaps Dragonball would've been better if someone like Zack Snyder handled it (I liked Man of Steel). Legendary Pictures did a good job with Godzilla and somehow that makes me hopeful that Hollywood does have a fair chance at making good adaptions.

Brunette Armin, no Levy, original characters for the movie... It'll be a pile of shit with a bunch of CG stuff in the middle. I have no faith whatsoever in live action movies based off anime. Death Note was kind of tolerable , but still.
Nevertheless, Hanji looks awesome. Shame she'll be wasted.

What is this f*cking pile of disappointment and pain!? I said i'd kill myself if they were to take Nihonjin instead of Gaijin, but i just don't feel the need to. It might actually not be that bad, but i'm staying with the anime :/ (still watching the movie though)
