[Locked] Name the Seiyuu and the Character they portray that you Love
0
I'm not sure if you people are particularly interested about Seiyuus, but they Undeniably play a HUGE part in the Anime Industry that I can't help but take notice of them & their work.
I'm very interested to know about Who comes in mind of other anime fans (like me) when Seiyuu, literally meaning Voice Actors, are talked about.
If you could spare a minute of your time with this thread, please feel free to state whoever(Seiyuu),male/female, you admire and the anime characters whom they gave Life upon with their "voice acting" you Love.
Ex. Tomatsu Haruka is all the rage right now I think... her breakthrough role was probably as Lala from ToLoveRU but it's her portrayal of Nagi (who I suppose you all know from Kannagi) that, at least for me, features her best work as a seiyuu by far...and I really adore her as Nagi! ..it's as if no other seiyuu can possibly fit or do a better impersonation of Nagi but Her, it's gotta be Haruka!

You got what I mean?!...

Ooh, I was going to create a thread for favorite seiyuus and appreciation. You read my thoughts. I have a lot of seiyuus that need mentioning.
My favorite seiyuu of all time, and he's got class and age:
Norio Wakamoto - most recently known for v-acting Charles vi Britannia from the Code Geass series, the Nabuu Brothers from Ga-Rei Zero, and the narrator voice in Hayate no Gotoku. God, I love his rich, classy, yet sassy voice. This guy knows kendo, shaolin kung-fu, and worked for the Tokyo Metro Riot police - fucking awesome this guy.
Another favorite seiyuu who's pretty old as well:
Houchu Ohtsuka - most recently known for Naruto series as Jiraiya, Little Demon from Soul Eater, and in my opinion best known for being Amalgam's Gates-sama from Full Metal Panic! TSR. Also in Kamen no Maid Guy, he voices this fish who targets the heroine's cleavage and yukata openings who's line I'll never forget - "Shinyuu~"
This list could go on and on... but I'll leave it at here for other input. (Yui Horie, Kikuko Inoue, Rie Tanaka, Mizuki Nana, Rikiya Koyama, Akira Ishida, Souichiro Hoshi, Maaya Sakamoto, Takehito Koyasu, Toshihiko Seki, Tomokazu Seki, etc. etc. I leave others to figure out who these seiyuus are.)
edit: I sometimes think that outside of the sphere of Japan seiyuus get very little attention. I sometimes find anime just by looking through a seiyuu's list of anime roles. (Wikipedia, animenewsnetwork) They deserve moar attention and appreciation.

since you mentioned this..
I just couldn't help but remember Shiraishi Minoru!!lol!, you know, the one who played as himself in Lucky Star and made a total fool of himself as well!! LOL! It really was funny seeing him do all sorts of wacky song & dance numbers(he mostly made up from Sentai Hero themed shows,I figure.. :? ) which served as the ed themes in the latter half of the series; especially when he adapted Yuko Goto's "Koi no Mikuru Densetsu" into his own -Koi no "Minoru" Densetsu! LOL!
So when I realized that He was Kazuki Sakuraba(Ga-rei Zero) i just couldn't help but remember those times lol!...and that made it difficult for me to take him seriously....HAHAHA!!! Min-min-miracle Minorun-run..
~I'll post my own list later, after I've done organizing my thoughts, even if nobody takes notice in it!!!

~I might add that He won Best Main Actor for his role as Lelouch Lamperouge in the first ever Seiyuu Awards last year.
I like him as Watanuki Kimihiro from the xxxHOLiC series.
by the way, so that you know, xxxHOLiC is NOT a X-rated program!

Jun Fukuyama: an awesome seiyuu in his own right with his young yet powerful and commanding voice. Most notable roles I've seen him in are Lelouche vi Britannia from Code Geass, Kawahira Keita from Inukami!, Muto Kazuki from Busou Renkin, Lawrence Craft from Spice and Wolf, and a whole bunch of others.
Miyano Mamoru: another awesome seiyuu who's similar to Jun Fukuyama but is more softer-spoken. Notable roles are Light Yagami from Death Note, Kuro from Kurozuka, Setsuna F. Seiei from Gundam 00, Death the Kid from Soul Eater, and Kiba from Wolf's Rain.
I know mah seiyuus.
