new evangellion movies

Does everyone agree that their better than the old ones story wise? I personally like them both about the same, the old one had better violent scenes and better music, where the new ones have a happier story so far.

I had always avoided evangellion until the movies came out because I have never really liked mech anime but the Evangellion movies changed my mind.

Somehow, Evangelion doesn't fit with this criteria, and I hope it will stay that way.

I personally prefer the new ones.
Mostly because the graphic though. But story-wise ? I would go with the old ones.

if only they made a proper ending for the TV series i would voted for the old one (even with the end of eva), though I'm still looking forward for the last 2 movies of Rebuild hopping that it would surpass the conclusion part of the old ones. and yeah eyepatched Asuka + megane Mari would be a plus too.
