So... Is anyone else raging like a bat outta hell? How rushed was this bullshit? They even cockblocked the kiss scene from the novel. I was looking really foward to the kiss since I've seen the novel and the raws of it also.

Absolutely. Feels like they squeezed 4 episodes into one. Hopefully the last ep will do this series some justice.

Well it's about goddamn time. It feels good to get that over with. But the series isn't quite over yet! There's still one more drama-filled (and hopefully comedy-filled as well) episode left.

I foresee a spin-off about Ami and Minori's love/hate/love relationship! :wink:

I bet the kissing scene should of happened right after Taiga jumped off the bridge. Maybe the studio wants to end Toradora with a bang by putting the kissu kissu scene at the end?
I haven't read any of the translations of the novels yet, but I wonder how they will manage without ever going to college?

It would seem that I've missed 5 episodes full of Taiga&Ryuji coming to terms with their feelings, dating and planning their future cause there's no way in hell that 15 minutes passed between 'Taiga thinking Kitamura saved her while Ryuji being unsure of fuckin' everything' and 'running away and getting married'. The rest of the cast must have been getting lobotomized repeatedly at that time since I hardly recognized any of them.

Some parts and lines would have been great and memorable if used in a more stand-alone fashion but the abruptness of the episode wasted them. The double mother confrontation scene was especially WTF.

This was so disappointing that it almost seems like a different series.
Even the possibility of my long-awaited Amin x Minorin lesbian spinoff growing substantially, helps little.

Little desire to watch the next ep ATM. First time Toradora managed that for me...

Still disappointed but managed to calm down. The abruptness of the episode is inexcusable but I guess they wanted to go for something more than a simple 'kiss in the final minute' ending. Hence the whole family/future related shit ... Clannad complex or something ?
Minori gained much at the second go and she was probably my favorite character of the episode. Amin was ... Amin - neglected yet gorgeous as always.
I'm not someone who starts hating a show because of one episode and Toradora will definitely be a good memory but I still hope the final episode returns to what I've learned to love about the series.

No, if they're gonna have anything in the next episode, it better be some sex. I know it's not cool, but they have sex at his grandparents in the novel. inb4lolryuugiimpregnantatend

Finally saw the subbed version, just one more of these to go! It's gotten to be kind of a pain in the ass to watch this show. Like when they both aaalmost said 'I love you' to each other, and after being interrupted it was never brought up again. That's the kinda thing that pisses me off. I mean, yeah, they could be saving all of this for the very end (and they should be), but after getting jerked around by Ryuuji while he finally realizes who it is he actually likes, I'm all out of patience. I still can't believe they actually took Minorin's life savings. I mean, I don't care for Minorin, never have, but she sure as hell didn't save up for these two knuckleheads to run away together. Mer...

If you ask me, Ryuugi is very selfish now. When she handed out her money, I was like, "Ryuugi won't take it, he's too nice." Ryuugi: "LOL HEY THANKS" Me: "WHAT THE FUCK, MAN?!" I just don't get why JCStaff cut out the kiss scene and all the stuff Ryuugi said to Taiga in the novel before the kiss. In the novel, he told Taiga that he pretty much needed her and how much he cared for her, and wanted to be with her. The anime gave us a cockblocked phonecall. I do agree with you about it being hard to watch this show now. Before it was nicely paced, then all of a sudden they started jamming everything down our throats. I'm just so at lost right now.

I knew I shoulda dropped this series 12 episodes ago. I just held onto this hope that maybe one day Ami-chan would smile again but nope. What a great way to shit all over a series after getting so many people hooked onto it.

woah...shit...that was quick...that one ep sure summed up more than it should...ryuuji bitched out big time...i felt a bit bitter for ya-chan though(being lectured by her own son)...as for taiga, err...insert [wtfcomment] here, a lesbian spinoff between ami and minorin would be a promising scenario...hurray for takasu (the side character that no one gave a fuck about)...

Subs are godawful, but that's all I got for the moment. -_-

Well, it's probably because of those subtitles, but... WHAT THE HECK were those dialogues about? Especially that mother+bridge part, man, I had to see that scene 5 times to at least guess what they were babbling about.

Yet still, I was like *BAAAAAW*, when they decided to run away and absolutely everyone just said "ok, here's everything I've got, running is a good option, now get the fuck outta here, KTHXBAI! :shock: "
Not speaking about that "I'm your grandchild, this is my wife, even though you've never seen me just do everything possible for us, THX granny and grandpa"
I'm really confused about this series right now....

I don`t read the novel but how I miss Taiga`s cute face when she is blushing. Well, it is right that the story is kinda confusing but what dissapoint me the most is that Ami and Minorin never step forward to get Ryuuji which leaves the conflict only for the friendship one. Sigh, how I think it will be more heated if they just fight against each other for Ryuuji. It made me remembered the Futakoi anime where the protagonist didn`t choose or shown choosing one girl from many twin. It can actually be a great anime If they did it.
