Persona 4 Anime -

They are but hopefully that means more money to spend on P5.

Saw episode 26. Felt a little disappointed since I guess I was expecting too much from it. It felt cramped for the most part. The ending will always be a tear jerker.

SUPER CONDENSED episode, it seems the secret boss for persona 4 got nerfed hard even in the anime version

The true end was pretty condensed but I still enjoyed it. Wasn't quite like the game but it was nice to finally see Izanagi no Okami

True End:

My main complaint, asides from the cramming which we all knew was coming five months ago, is actually the choice of music. They used the Reincarnation version of I'll Face Myself -Battle- instead of Fog and Traumerei at the end. In the game, Traumerei being used for the final conflict had a very emotional effect and actually is what made me fall in love with the track. Instead, the ending feels too upbeat and not as epic as it could've been.

It seems like they've given it a better closing in the anime, though the focus on the other side-characters from the social link were somewhat loose in my opinion.

Lol, that sounded horrible. Chie was terrible and the way they said "persona" was weird.

I actually kind of liked the Persona 4 game dub, but now I'm pretty skeptical about how the anime will fair. Also, side note, if you want the series on Blu-ray it's dub only, THANK YOU SENTAI. Though I don't know why you'd want this on Blu-ray in the first place considering it looks like shit.

I thought the game had a good dub too but I'm pretty sure they couldn't get all of the original VAs for the anime.

They couldn't get Chie (obviously) and Teddie, from what I've heard the rest of the cast is the same with Johnny Bosh as Yu, so no idea who they got to do Adachi.

Actually, it's not Sentai's fault, since they could not get permission to use the Japanese dub. Thus, they were forced to make it English dub only.

I have actually heard that floating around the interwebs, but then why does the DVD release have dub and sub?
