Queen's Blade (Update: 3rd Season Announced - Rebellion)

Supposedly scheduled for release this upcoming Winter season, I have no idea what its storyline is about, apart from the short synopsis provided on the various preview images. However, from what I can tell, females from the fantasy realm, clad in sometimes outrageous outfits will be involved in some fighting action, either against one another or other common enemies such as ogres, trolls, maybe even tentacle monsters.
Ecchi fanservice will definitely be a key theme. All other Queen's Blade related media have featured the various female characters in provocative poses. As mentioned earlier, the clothes and armour of some characters leave little room for imagination as to why lies beneath. In addition, it can be noted that the females tend to be rather busty, which should appeal to some anime (and hentai) fans.

A brand new season (if I am not wrong) of Queen's Blade has been announced, scheduled for airing in Spring 2012. This time round, it will feature brand new characters from the Rebellion series, so expect a lot more fanservice. :D
After some reading, Claudette has supposedly become the queen of the land, ruling with an ironfist, eradicting those who stand in her way. Annelotte (the new protagonist?) happens to be one such character who opposes Claudette, starting a rebel army, to challenge the latter's rule.

To tell the truth, Queen's Blade doesn't seem very popular among members of the Fakku forum, but having 3 seasons of anime should mean it has quite a large following in Japan... right?

When I found out that Mamiko Noto's part of the cast, no doubt I'll be checking this out! Hopefully, this series proves not to be only about the ecchiness...
