[Anime] Rail Wars! (Summer 2014)

Apart from the chikan-based hentai mangas and anime, I never would have expected fanservice and railway to go hand-in-hand. Then again, Japan and its anime titles never fail to surprise or amaze us.
In a world where Japan did not privatize its national railways, our male protagonist, Takayama Naoto, a big fan of railways, is currently performing on-the-job-training as part of the security force. Together with his colleagues, who possess colourful personalities, they must fight to prevent the company from being privatized.

To be honest, it was the character designs which caught my attention. That and the railway uniform on the female characters. :D

Episode 1's Derp level was quite high. Can't really expect much for their (Passione) 2nd anime as the major animation studio.

Backgrounds/landscapes/Buildings are not a good "measurement" on the quality of a Studio's work, it just shows that they're good at recreating/redrawing buildings and it's always and easier thing to do.
But there's this

This pic simply shows their consistency, priorities and budgeting, and this is still episode 1.
They also made a glaring mistake in the Shooting training, at 7.28, the characters are shown to have their earmuffs on, but by 7.39 their earmuffs are not on, only to reappear after he shot the gun. They either forgot to draw it or simply re-edited the scene without repairing the continuity. But once again, this really shows the their work quality.
Animation wise, they don't have a problem, but their drawing consistency and continuity is questionable.
Heck, even the exact same location in a different scene wasn't consistent

If the quality of the story, characters, and scenarios were better, this wouldn't bother me so much, but as said... this series is as cut and paste as they come with the only fresh thing about it being the train subject matter. But I have a feeling it won't be all that much educational.

[color=#ff69b4]The first episode was pretty good and I'll keep watching it. Good lord all the fanservice in the first few minutes of the anime. Now I'm not saying it's a bad thing I was just not expecting so many panty shots in the first few minutes.

This made me laugh so hard when I saw it xD
I think that the series will be alright, not looking at it being the top anime of the season. So I'll keep watching it till it gets boring.
