R+V2 is one of those anime I really shouldn't be watching, yet the anime is just funny enough to keep me entertained even while I'm facepalming myself to death from all the panties and the weak plot. Let's hope we get to see Ghoul Tsukune in action this time, unlike what happened at the end of season of 1, which was a major disappointment.

Hehe Ghoul.
When you say Ghoul zombie comes to my mind.I though he was gonna become a vampire himself like the usual classic gettin bitten by a vampire and turn into a vampire.Rather than being bitten by a vampire all the time and turning into a ghoul.

And from the sound of it I shouldn't even finish it. We'll see what happens.

So if panties are the only reason you watch R+V, then go watch Najica instead.

I just wanna see the kind of ecchi monster action we're gonna get for this new season. As far as I'm concerned, plot is the main issue, though whether or not we get this ghoul-action is another story and we'll see if the producers will put it in.
Btw, Discotheque is actually the OP sequence to Rosario + Vampire Capu2, except in the case of episode 1. The song "Trinity Cross" is the actual ED song.

Yeah, I just realized that when I watched episode 2 and they were dancing right at the beginning. Makes sense, the dancing's rather hypnotic for some reason. >.> What better way to hook people?

Not for the first ep, it wasn't. That's what most people saw already.

They did the same thing with season 1. Introducing the Op song at the end of episode 1. Its great, no rip off! if you say it copied others, well they did a great job at it!

I liked it immensely, and it's a much better improvement over the first OP. The color scheme and music reminds me of the 70s disco era, hence the song name "Discotheque" and OP sequence theme.

I love the manga too, anime is still ok with lots of fan service but just when will the male lead turn GAR?

I was hoping they would do the back half of the first manga season and show his GARness but I guess they are going to have to explain how he got that chain around his wrist sooner or later ;)
