I'd just like to remind you guys to keep the "spams" to a minimal. Let's keep this thread clean and just discuss about the "anime series" called Rozen Maiden.

This is the most sacred section in the forums and I'd like it to remain that way. Don't forget that this isn't in Random nor in IB and you guys should know it better. "Please" don't mess around here. (Please)

As much as I'd like to raise the total post count of this particular section, I'd still rather have it in the "right" way, or not at all.

Call me a jerk for taking it so seriously, but that's my nature, and obviously, this is going a little too far. (I believe even MODs would agree with me for this matter)

In the end, I can quite understand how much you love this series. But then again, please keep the discussion right on track and as much as possible, make it "Meaningful." :wink: - that's all I'm asking.

Sorry hermit but I'm gonna say it this time - you are acting like a jerk. I still hold a very high degree of respect for you especially for your contribution to the specific threads and do see the overall point but posting something like that on a threat that has 1.5 pages with most of the posts containing some Rozen material a bit is silly. Especially when coming from someone who admitted not knowing much about the series making your post (the second one) the most off-topic.

No offense dude - post what you feel like posting. I'm just getting the impression that sometimes you're taking things a bit too seriously. Points like that are necessary and you'd usually get my support on them but this (and a few others) seems a bit premature.

Once again - please don't feel offended by this. 8)

In case someone missed it - it's Suigintou for me.
I'm simply a sucker for the darker characters. She also radiates much pain and saddens making me feel sorry for her. She seemed a bit psychotic at the begging but once she left the main villain seat and was given more depth and a touching side-story I completely fell for her :P

It's true and I'd gladly be a jerk, if being one is what it takes to bring about change and improvement. Like I've said, that's my nature, and I act according to how I feel at a given moment. - So that's the result. (period)

A little reminder shouldn't hurt at such an early stage where the majority of posts consists of merely sentences long, containing so little info on what this series is about even. I had a feeling that it would only continue on if no one is willing to say something about it, and that's simply what I did. Believe me, I wouldn't have wanted to do it and it took me a while to reconsider, but there you have it. I don't think that there's anything wrong with what I did.

Plus, my statement wasn't intended to attack anyone in particular, it serves as a reminder for everybody.

Someone, who haven't seen the series, who was merely expressing his opinion of it is off-topic? (at least it was all kept in one post) - if I'm going to compare my post to a few others, I'd say that mine was a lot more appropriate/acceptable.

I won't deny that I take a lot of things "very seriously" but like you've said, things like this are often "necessary." - Action is always best taken at an immediate time, rather than when it's too late. 8) (it even applies here)

I'm not going to argue any longer because obviously, that isn't what this thread is about. 8)

anyone who thinks otherwise, feel free to pm me... I don't want this thread to get any more "off-topic" than it has already been.

Is it worth it?

It's a 2-part bonus material about Shinku and Sugintou's past experiences (before they became enemies). Since it's short don't expect too much story but as far as the audio-visual qualities are concerned - it's the best RM product. It also gives even more depth to Sugintou's character.
Definitely worth it IMO.

this show was wickedly awesome. nice story,nice intros, intriguing characters. and i just love anime with a European feel like what rozen maiden had.
the style of the characters are very elegant

she doesn't have a torso because father never got around to finish constructing her.she is the first doll he made but also the most imperfect one which is why she is so bitter towards the other dolls
