It started out pretty good, they introduced him and she came along showing her dark side and such, the animation quality was superb and all but it took too long to come to that climax, episode 2 would've been perfect but 3? I don't know really, just seemed to take too long if you ask me.

25 chapters currently
one chapter a ep.. you can do the mathematics.
slated for 13 eps.. if popular.. maybe until 26 or more.... which the manga releases every months i t could end when the manga ends.

Ending when the manga ends would be appropriate but still I hope this goes on for longer than 13 eps since it just seems so rushed but 26 still seems like too much for this kind of story that I've seen so far, but oh well, we'll see.

I appreciate the fact that the studio is able to replicate Rea's bewitching smile, it's quite a pleasant sight to withness. Once more, always there being the worry of the pacing which i must affirm, truly they intend to continue at such a slow pace?

And for those that doesn't know what rigor mortis is...

The muscles after death becomes stiff and difficult to move or manipulate. It's basically one of the most easy ways to affirm one's death. In Rea's case, it hastened because she took a hot shower.

Yes by strict definition but I think cousins are legal Japan so its not as big of a deal as siblings and parents.

Spoiler:
Rea gets rigor and livor mortis in the manga but thus far she doesn't get the other stages of decomposition. From the looks of it those will never happen either. It seems ultimately Rea will just turn to dust because that will be far more romantic than the actual decomposition process. Of course, Chihiro will discover a way to keep a zombie alive forever...I hope.
