I could definitely see Akari as an alien, and I can definitely see her as the reason why Maya "dies." Her gaze towards Chihiro after she proposed dinner to Abe was bone-chilling. Either she legitimately likes Abe and wants him all to herself, (which could be the reason why she attacks Maya, or, she is using him to get closer to Maya and kill her. Not sure which side I'm on yet.

To no one's surprise, Mikaze turned out to be the bad guy, but damn, she is a fine black mage. I was glad that she didn't turn into some lame villain. I was also pleasantly surprised that Chihiro turned out to be a good guy/white mage all along, and I can't wait to see the two of them fight it out next week.

I was also surprised that Maya's book turned out to be a talisman, and what was up with the old man in the future? Did Maya's father really not die/was a time traveler? Also Mikaze did admitt to killing him, I think that their is something more to that.

I don't think he was a time traveller, he could most likely forsee the future or something... Or maybe not I don't know really xD. He was aware of the future apparently, that's why he got killed.

Near the end I was like "Thank god it didn't really happen ;_;". Seeing Bumpei mourn over Maya was really sweet.

The fight between Chirio and Mikaze was very intense, and the animation was very nice. I was a bit sadden when Chihiro was defeated in the battles, but I was glad that she was able to say her last words to Bunmei.

I also loved JK, Smile, and the gang's fight against the old ladies. That was wild. Chihiro's bodyguard was also very awesome, and it was interesting to learn that he was a shape shifter. Also, the announcement that Maya's dad was still alive was out of no where, but as I wrote in my last post, I was kind of thinking that he was.

I was glad that Abe and Maya were able to team up with the spell book in the end, and stop Mikaze, but the future didn't change after the key was destroyed...

I'm wondering if they were late of if that didn't matter because something else was going to happen anyways?

I'm not sure, but I'm definitely excited for the last episode, and it looks like Chihiro and her bodyguard are possibly back, unless that's a flashback. Maybe because all of the demonic energy was expelled, they were returned to their human forms only? Guess I'll have to watch it in order to find out!

and omg it was pretty touching when the vice principal died disregarding the outfit but then she came back in the trailer? all thsi a troll? on a personal note i am glad mikaze is gone for good. cant wait til next ep FINAL

I'm going to go out on limb here and say that Bunmei is Nostradamus's Key. I remember Maya foreshadowing it when she was talking about "it" "coming down from out of the sky" during ep 2 I think. Then she just forgot about that line of thinking completely when she was attacked after her shower deal (remember, thats when the journal got all shiney and saved her the first time?).

The reason I think this is because as we saw, the world is not yet saved. That, and Maya took a picture of not only Mikaze but of Bunmei. She might of thought, "What if I shot them with a missile?" or "What if I destoryed them?" and phone showed the future was going to be saved. So yeah, I think Bunmei is the key and not just future Bunmei, but maybe 1999 child Bunmei (which might be why he is in the preview).

Ah, good point. I forgot that child Bunmei was depicted in the preview, and that both Mikaze and Bunmei were in the same photo. I have a feeling that you are correct!
