So I just watched from Episode 1 to the end of the second season in about 3 days.

I like this anime. I also love Kagimiya Rie (Even though I hated her in Toradora, but that wasn't the Seiyuu's fault, just Taiga's for being a shitty character).

Was anyone else spectacularly disappointed at the romance progression in the series thus far? I mean, I liked it overall, but it gets really fucking annoying after the 50th time or so that Shana DOESN'T tell Yuji how she feels about him. Guh.

(And does anyone know whenabouts the third season will happen?)

After the S(hit) series, the(gay)OVAs, are finished, and that's still after about a year more of production, so I'd say the end of 2011 at the earliest.

Apparently, the manga version's translation has not even covered the first season of the anime. Heck, I'm not even sure if the manga published past the anime's story yet. My guess is that it's not, like Haruhi manga.

Since the series was originally based on light novel, you could try reading that. Unfortunately, the "official" light novel translator, baka-tsuki team, has abandoned the project and is no longer available to be read because it was licensed in the US. You could search on the web in case it was copied somewhere else before it was abandoned. It should be up somewhere, since it's just a bunch (10,000+) of words that can be easily copied.

I've read that fall '10 is when S3 is being released, nothing concrete and i've been drinking too much to care to cite my sources

I really would like a third season soon.

I don't actually watch anime like most people here. But this is a series I can enjoy and discuss. Hope it airs soon~

I'm anticipating it, the S2 gives me a bad cliffhanger. Watching the episodes builds your expectations higher and higher, then destroying it all by giving some dissapointing end, I hope that S3 will be much better.

Yeah, hopefully they don't pull any of the crap they pulled at the start of Season 2. MY ASS He couldn't hear what she said. Even if that's true, Friggin Alastor should have just told him.

I just finished Season 1 of Shana, and have started watching season 2 ( up to ep. 8 )

Hopefully Season 3 will air Winter of 2011.....one can only hope.

It's a pretty good series, and I gotta say, at first, I could NOT stand Shana (the girl), but after a while, she seemed to be nicer and not so tsundere, but she goes back and forth, especially when she's fighting somebody....she gets very serious (she has to, otherwise, she will lose) But once it's revealed she has feelings for Yuuji, and that he can "lend" her his powers, it's evident that she deeply cares for him, even though she won't tell him, LOL.

And it's kinds funny; 3 girls have crushes on Yuuji...even though he's (technically) a dead guy....but only 2 as of now know about him being a Torch and Mystes.
Anyways, I can't wait until Season 3!!

I should start watching this, as I already watched Hayate no Gotoku! and Zero no Tsukaima, and Shana is also voiced by the infamous Queen of Tsundere...

I just recently watched the first season...it just didn't do anything for me, not really exciting, the story line was really nothing special.
