Yeah, I'm currently watching it.It's a kind of a unexpected anime for me, like Reina's case, I thought "Meh, another mahou-shoujo anime."
Then after I watch it, it's a worthy show after all.
:D
just thought the same way but now i enjoy wathcing this series
But Ironically, I dropped downloading it after the 50th episodes, I'm kinda bored with the fights and I just don't like a anime that has more than 50 episodes.
I'll probably buy the DVD later.

3rd Season first episode made me feel kind of awkward, I guess real live actors just aren't my share of the cake. But if the animated parts remain as good as they were then you won't hear me complain.
The manga remains promising as ever though.

Ugh.....back then, when I heard that Shugo Chara is getting an anime., I was like "Wow, that's good to hear. But can they pull it off? The art is not something easy to animate..." Then when I watched the first ep, I was like, "Oh well, I expected that it's going to be like this....but the seiyuu are all good, so it's fine."
After the first season was finished, I said "Well, some fillers here and there, but still okay overall..." Several episodes into the second season, "Enough with the fillers already! Wargh!" Then, when I watched the third season first ep...I was like,
this, and then
this.
Seriously wtf!? Rather then do something that cruel to the anime adaptation of one of my favorite manga, they could have just.....ugh, take a break to let the manga go on, do less episodes per season from early on...and...ugh, whatever!
Damn. I know I'll be raging if I'm one of Peach-Pit members.

Long running animes has never been about the quality of story and execution of the show. It's all about the ratings and money that it generates from it + the merchandise. Not being a close follower of the manga, I'd think its fun and ok, but a friend of mine raged at the introduction of Lulu and the "wtf" eggs aka "nazo tama"
It'll just go downhill from here. In another sense, didn't believe target audience was for anyone 18+ anyways. For the actual audience, maybe then don't care if the story jumps in here and there. I watch it for comedy relief most of the time.
I'm behind in eps, but did they get rid of Lulu or is she still around?

I just watch the previews starting from ep 60 and it seems like Lulu was ridden of for good. and bentoss, try reading the manga. I think you'll easily understand why the followers of the manga raged at the anime.

I think you'll easily understand why the followers of the manga raged at the anime.Well even though I began watching the anime before the manga I already can tell that the manga is obviously a lot superior since it doesn't try to cash in by lengthening their episode count, another reason why manga is superior. It has no time slots, only page counts.

It's a good thing that I stopped after the first season. Not only do I not want to spoil myself any more, I figured there would be a drop in quality as it catches up with the manga. The animation of the first season was quite amazing though considering the budget. Apparently, that is what happens when you have a few extra months to animate.
