[Manga] Solanin

Solanin, by Inio Asano, is an absolutely heartwarming oneshot seinen manga about a young woman and her life in the real world. It gives off a bit of a Nana/Beck vibe, but its U.S. release is just one volume, making it a MUCH quicker read than either of the aforementioned series. A live action adaptation is in the works, set for release sometime in April. (fun fact: Solanine is a naturally occuring poison... kind of interesting to know if you plan on reading this manga)

This really was a bitter sweet manga. I could really relate the characters as well.

It was a sad near ending but still a book worthy of me actually paying for it, that and Not Simple. The live action was meh okay to kill some time on.
