Soul Eater 35

So here's the skinny. (who says that?)

Ox, Kilik, and Kim continue to fight those Arachnophobia guys while Maka, Black Star, and Kid are looking for Mary and Stein.


Ox and Kilik's "Thunder Combination" was pretty cool.

Elsewhere Mifune (I think that's his name) and Sid were continuing their fight.



Game got called on a count of retreat... too bad.


Maka & Friends find Mary and Stein and Stein's not doing so well.
They continue on to find the BREW and end up running into Mosquito who has it. Mosquito transforms to his "100 Years Ago" self.

He pissed me off when all he did was talk. Now that he kicks ass he's even more annoying. They get owned but before that we get to see something pretty intersting.

EIBON! That adds to that whole mystery.

Soul realizes the only way they can resonate souls because the magnetic field is interrupting it (?) is to play the piano in his soul and connect to the others through sound? Whatever, it's anime logic so it doesn't really have to make sense.

Soul always looks badass in his suit. Anyway, they mentioned something about the black blood infecting the others too. It's like an STD. (Soully Transmitted Disease?) Eh.
Stein went nuts and here are the pictures throughout the episode.



Pretty good episode overall. Next week looks intersting with the Black Blood and the modified soul resonance and all.

I thought 34 and 35 were really cool episodes. I can't wait for 36 either. I wanted to hear Soul play the piano so bad, and of course it ends right as he's about to.

Stein was going crazy. I was getting worried for Marie-sensei, and I was also looking forward to seeing her in weapon form but we didn't get to.

I was also wondering about Kim's weapon. I thought it was a lantern at first, but then she stuck that pole on it and rode it like a broom or something. I thought it was pretty cool shooting flames from that skull looking thing inside it, and I liked the keyhole. Speaking of weapons I think Killik's weapons are also bad ass. I liked those brown loli's doing weird breakdancing moves. If you notice their eyes are the plating on his gloves.

COME ON 36!

The ending of 35 had me wanting more, dang it. Stein going crazy can't be good for Shibusen.

Kim's weapon is like a portable furnace/flamethrower/jet pack. Pretty cool and the first unique weapon we've seen, right?

Definitely. I think it might be my favorite so far just because it's so unique.

Given that almost every fansub group are forced to drop Soul Eater, this can take a while :evil:

CLIFF HANG! LAME! 34th and 35th episodes were pretty shocking, well for me I guess. The Story Jumped out from nowhere. The Fighting Scenes were cool, particularly Mifune and Sid-kun, they were amazing ninja.

Im craving for 36th episode! hoooo
