Yamato is ready for a fresh start. So when his aunt invites him to stay rent-free in her big-city boarding house in hustling, bustling Tokyo, Yamato jumps at the chance. There's just one teensy-weensy catch: It's an all-girl housing complex and spa! Things get even more nerve-racking when Yamato meets his neighbor Suzuka, a beautiful track-and-field star. She's not just the cutest girl Yamato's ever met, she's also the coolest, the smartest, and the most intimidating. Can an ordinary guy like Yamato ever hope to win over a girl like Suzuka?Categories: anime, drama, ecchi, romance, school life, shounen

i looked but didn't see a thread about this and was surprised...
i thought it was a good read...
sometimes the arts kinda scratchy but i think it deal-able...
it took for ever for some things and sometimes suzuka got really selfish but i recommend it...

Man, that guy has a really recognizable style. -_-
Well, checking this out now. :P
Edit: Is it just me, or is everyone getting a massive "Love Hina" vibe from this?

I dunno, I just read the first chapter and thought "Hey, this is a hell of a lot like Love Hina. >.>"
Well, it's different now anyway. ._. (chapter 9-ish)

I have the whole set of the Suzuka manga lying somewhere around my room. One cannot deny that its artwork is great, but there are certain parts where the storyline was a little draggy, especially about the male and female protagonists on-off relationship.

Ah one of my favorite mangas. Theres also an anime about the 1st half of their relationship. Unlike most romance mangas, Suzuka shows the problems/temptations that most couples go through in a relationship.

I love the manga more than the anime. It was just something about the anime that didn't sit well with me.

Don't understand? Ask me why.
Also, the Anime was the one that made me cry. After the ending, I felt that it was kinda cutted off, so I searched around the internet and found out that the Suzuka manga had its continuation.
This manga also is my 2nd first manga. 1st was Gacha Gacha =D

You got a point it was an accident and she did have to give up her dreams to keep the child but oh well. Still doesn't change that fact that it was one of my first mangas and thus holds a special place in my heart...

Kinda makes me wanna pick this up. I watched the anime, and I was raging my ass off the entire time. It pissed me off so much this series, and the long-haired girl whose name I forgot was totally screwed over... I felt sorry for her when I watched the anime.

@biglw17: Above-par animation quality aside, you're gonna regret it. I did. Or maybe because I had a history project due that very same morning when I blasted through the series... and still left me mad.

The manga had a lot of potential. Hell, the series had potential. Some parts were dragged way too long. The last few chapters are crap that the author must have put together under editorial stress to end the series. It makes absolutely no sense (the ending). Just doesn't sits well considering what Yamato's goals (asides getting together with Suzuka) are.

Like Furukawa Nagisa's Parents did.
PS
It felt like some chapters were dragged? hmm.... I didn't feel that...
