Thousands of viewers don't lie. This movie is now ranked at #1 on MyAnimeList, AnimePlanet and AniDB. This is the first Anime in our generation to have achieved such distinction. We don't need further description of whether this movie is worth a watch or not.

Let me just say this to the people have read the novels millions of times like me and say "I don't need to see this!" - You have seen nothing yet. The power and emotions in this movie is beyond what words (official or fan-translated) can express.

No amount of praise can justify this god-like movie. Watch it and be blown away.

Took me like four hours to watch, because I needed to take breaks. It's so long! But so GOOD! KyoAni made up for the Endless Eights in my eyes. Oh, Bandai just licensed the movie, so it will be coming out subbed in California and/or Hawaii. Ya lucky dogs!

Had a look at anidb and like 50people had voted, most people who have seen this (and been cared enough to go vote) are probably haruhi fans so i wouldn't give anything for those statistics

So i'm not expecting much of it, I'll be back tomorrow if it's awesome

I think at least for MAL, it will stay there for quite a long time. It has a 9.15 average with >1000 voters, not to mention that 20 out of the 28 trolls who gave it a one were Gintama fans. And this is only a camrip.



I'm not concerned about a "backlash". This movie is actually that good.

And the Camrip is really bad quality, to be honest. If you can wait 8 months, I urge you to do so. xD

I haven't watched a camrip in years but I just couldn't hold myself back here, but I assumed I'd simply give up and just delete the file. But the movie was so amazing and so damn good I couldn't stop watching >_>

Does it make up for Endless Night? Hell yes it does, heck it's even made me optimistic enough to want a Season 3, now all they need to do is stop making Haruhi looking like the girl from K-on. (Bigger eyes would fix it.)

Really awesome movie, I kinda wish Ryoko Asakura to permanantly come back, not as an evil villain but as one of the good guys then joined the SOS Brigade and um..you..know....continue the story?

Anyways, the movie almost had my head spinning with more than one Kyons and the stuff about jumping in from one time plane to the other, and man Mikuru was hot on her Christmas Costume, no wonder Kyon went crazy, it was weird for Haruhi to call Kyon a pervert at that time though, because Haruhi normally doesn't care about girls seen exposed right? Like how she starts changing on the classroom while the male students were around on the second episode (I think so).

It was a little hard to believe that the changed world's Koizumi liked Haruhi, didn't see it coming there at all.

And the biggest question remains, how does Nagato has the power to harness Haruhi's powers? I mean, doesn't Haruhi have absurd amount of power, even though she didn't knew about it, wasn't she like invincible in that way? So shouldn't Nagato be unable to touch that kind of unbelievable power?
