Viewers nowadays.....ugh, sooooo judgmental. I’d say it’s pretty immature to hate a character, not just a character but the main character at that and so early on in only just the beginning, merely for having so little of any distinct fighting ability for someone who’s admitted to having little to none of any experience.
My first impression of Cecily is that she’s earnest and very straightforward to the point that she could really care less about this and that. She’s still young and thus quite naive but despite that, she knows what she wants to do and she’s more than willing to go the distance to prove to more than anyone else but herself that she can.
How the hell am I suppose to dislike someone like that. Remember, she’s not doing this knight business thingy to gain such fame and recognition. She’s doing so to continue her family’s legacy (as the sole inheritor) in service of the people. Her dedication/conviction to what is just is only befitting of a true knight. Her selfless and voluntary acts, albeit unwise, placing her life on the line, should be more than enough of a proof for that and her awesomeness.
And thus her journey for growth and maturity has only begun...

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

Ahhh... thank you for your perfectly valid opinions. I +repping you just for that; needed some support in the argument of Cecily :P

Well, I just watched the first episode and I'm left wondering how Luke cuts a broadsword with his katana. I'm sure that his sword is of a higher grade and kept in better condition but to cut such a heavy sword in half is crazy. Ah well, it's anime. He looked cool while doing it so it's okay. He's got some cool magic too.
In response to all those who are hating on Cicily, all she needs is a longer sword and some training to compensate for her lack of strength and reach. It's just starting... she could be really skilled but it's only been a month since she took up a sword.
Also, Lisa is amazingly cute. Amazingly cute.

Regardless of any personality characteristics or failings that Cecily might have, I am not going to fault that outfit. I find her character design to be PURE SEX. Personal opinion, tho'.

Captain Hannibal = awesomeness to the extreme!
Anyway, episode two was an ok episode, I guess. Don't know, expected a little bit more, but it was after all a build up episode. Nonetheless, I found it pretty interesting. They left some questions that needs to be answered, and I hope they'll be answered in due time. But one thing was way too easy to figure out:
So... Luke got his reward. That scene was epic, lol. Too bad we didn't get to see anything. My liking of Lisa rose at the sentence "Those were pretty darn huge." XD
And who is this Aria person? They hinted at her being the sword, but I'm sceptic. Well, we'll just have to see later.
Speaking of later, was it just me or was there no episode preview for the next ep?

Cecily was less annoying in this one (probably because she didn't have much screentime?), plus breasts scene was priceless. :D
But I'm seriously turning gay for Luke, he's the best character in the show so far.

Well, the idea that she is the sword is quite plausible, seeing as she graphically morphs into one in the OP sequence.

You easily concluded the mystery guy's identity to be Siegfried while remaining skeptic about the more obvious given fact being that Aria is a goddamnhawt (spirit of a very special) sword!?

I'm looking forward to when he and Siegfried clash swords.

Episode 2 was pretty good. I felt a bit saddened at the Scene with Cecily's armor and hitting Luke .. I felt it made Luke's character less bad-ass...Cecily is seriously getting on my nerve... I just can't seem to like her.

Well he apparently isn't perfect thanks to the "not untouchable" thingy, but still the best I've seen so far (although Aria is haaaaaaaawt and Liza cute). Seriously, the bargaining scene was just made of win.
But I still hope Cecily undergoes some kind of training/change/mental breakdown and stops just blabbering randomly about pride/family/knight stuff and takes over Luke's place (the best character position - she's the main char after all). On the other hand, as long as she isn't trying to fight, she's hilarious (bargaining, embarassement, etc). Tough choice for me.

How am I supposed to know that in that world you can transform a sword into a hot female? No, exactly. And yes, I still think she is the sword - just hoping for an explanation soon.
And that's his name - Siegfried? Hm..

Well that opened up a wound that just barely closed. I don't recall Cal having to be saved every episode,I don't recall her babbling on about pride, etc every chance she gets. Also she was messed up by Scythe(which is why I hate him) If he just trained her to be a killer fine.. but no...
Meh point is Cal and Cecily not the same.
*sigh* I've lost interest now

@necoyama: That personal opinion of yours, I’ll never forget, ever.
Two words of unveiling the most important fact that was hidden so well in my previous post above yours.
HAVE AT YOU!

Care to say what kind of apparition exactly possessed you, coming up with something like this? Anyway, I can't really help a guy who can't even manage to help himself out of his own ordeal. (I'm still waiting for his response with the message I had left him in that particular thread.) In any case, I hope those piccies could help a bit even though I doubt it.
Btw, how about you? I can give it a jump-start if you're about ready to share your thoughts on the ending. And while I'm still off-topic, WATCH Sora no Otoshimono and help make its thread livelier and cheery!
fix'd
Pfft, you can still be old and somewhat cool..
It wasn't meant as a derogatory though. You should really learn to detect my jokes without me telling you about them every other time.
food for thought
@Lamz: Glad to see some change in attitude, at least in dealing with me. I guess you've finally realized what I've meant when I told you the last time that you rub me the wrong way.
@D'Forge: Don't say that you lost interest just because of silly ol'Mello (still, both names start with the letter C, something which those two have in common); it'd only make me lose further interest in all of mankind.
PS: In agreement and argument, always remember that we are still brothers by interest and therefore should have mutual respect or, at the very least, mutual indifference for each others' opinions.

My attitude is one hell of a funny thing you know, it's always the same but everytime I type something, different meaning goes out. Don't ever take your impression of my attitude too seriously, just for future refference.
About the pics in your post... the first one is awesome!

You know what, you probably should heed the same advice I just gave to Mello. Both of you seems to be having a rather hard time telling apart my serious statements from those almost nonsensical ones. Well, I sure couldn't blame you guys but here's a tip: "Off-topic matters ain't so far away from home."
It sure is. But personally, I like the second one much better cause it's a group pic (with Aria and Lisa) and Cecily's wearing something other than her usual knight/armor get-up. :D

Well, I just got done watching episode two. I quite like the storyline so far. The fighting sequence was nice, and I'm liking the interactions between Luke, Lucy, and Cecily so far. It was priceless Highlight of the episode.
I'm really curious about this, though, and how exactly Luke got into forging swords in the first place, (.
