I see, I didn't knew that. But that means that the second season will make us wait for a long time after the first season ends.
Seeing as there are a lot of chapters and still ongoing, it probably will have more than two seasons.

Wut.
There is no source for this. It hasn't been announced how many episodes there will be.

Well, this is interesting news:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-10-05/kami-nomi-zo-shiru-sekai-2nd-season-listed-for-april-2011
"The website of the Japanese toy retail group Takarajima Create Group has posted a solicitation sheet that revealed that the second season of the Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai anime has been green-lit for broadcast in April of next year."
I never heard of an anime getting a second season announcement before the first episode of the first season even airs. Guess that's a good sign. :)

Nah there have been quite a few, however they were always top guns from WSJ. However I can't be that happy about it. Usually when this kind of thing happens; it's fillerpalooza.
So when that happens it's drop the anime like it's hot time.

This show might have been good if i haden't read the manga, but since it's so different from the manga it appear like utter shit now :(

Judge each medium by it's merits, I say.
I loved the first episode, and am definitely sticking with this.
After I'm done with the anime, I'll go to the manga.
S'what I did with Dance in the Vampire Bund, and that worked out well.

I just got done watching the first episode of The World God Only Knows, one of my most anticipated fall releases, and I must say that I really enjoyed it. Shame on me for not checking out this series sooner, though!
Anyways, I'm really looking forward to what this show will be like in the future episodes, so I'm eager to see more!

Lol...
I just loved the first episode. I am so storing this series in my drive. Did you guys see how different Elsee looks? She has relatively bigger boobs and looks much cuter. Actually all the heroines (we have seen so far) look much cuter. Elsee however takes the number one spot on huge improvement.
Only one thing I was disappointed with. The choice of the voice actor for Keima. I was really hoping for a more manly voice. It really completely doesn't fit with the aura Keima gives in the manga (in the original story). I mean he always gives off the aura of confidence and arrogance. So why give him a slightly girly voice?
So far it's amazing and I just can't wait for the next episode.

When I saw that this was going to be animated, I had high hopes as I loved the manga. Boy, do they know how to make it damn successful. Just watching the first episode felt like I was rereading the manga again, only with voice actors that (in my personal opinion) fit the characters. Can't wait for episode 2. D:

I'm glad that they decided to use a one girl-one episode.
it will be like dragging slow if they decided that Ayumi will have 2 episodes.
Well, this depends on the whole arc itself though.
Anyway, good start.
I'm still hoping for Jun Fukuyama, but I'm glad they chosen Hiro Shimono above anybody else.

Just watched the first episode because I thought that the premise look interesting, so I decided to check it out.
I don't think it was bad, but it was hard for me to relate when I really haven't play those 2D daiting games.
It was a first good episode. However, I hope it doesn't turn out to be like a "girl of the week" series. I hope there are some decent arcs.
Oh yeah, I already like Elsea. She is too damn cute. So I'll most likely continue to watch this series just because of her.

This is definitely going to be like this.
The difference is and the main attraction point is All girls have a different role, different theme and different way of catching.
Because if it doesn't do it like that, then it's going to be a SLOW~~~~ really slow anime.
Apparently Each episode will cover about 3 chapters of the manga, which in total has aroudn 60 pages.

I'm sorry, I don't like this adaptation. Keima's voice completely failed to capture his arrogant, confident attitude. Cut way too many scenes. Weak cinematography. For an anime that I go into without expectations, it's good. Unfortunately, my expectations were too high, and this adaptation didn't meet them.

I mean seriously it's such an important part of a character. However I'm less critical than you about everything else. Like Kaimax said, otherwise it would be a really slow paced anime and would drag on.

So why give him a slightly girly voice?Huh ... I didn't actually think it could even be called "slightly girly". I thought it was an alright voice, not the best, but fitting at least.

For an anime that I go into without expectations, it's good. Unfortunately, my expectations were too high, and this adaptation didn't meet them.I just re-read the first chapter of the manga. The only "significant" scenes that were cut were the intro scene with Elsea and Keima stating he's going to confess. It's otherwise an almost exact replica of the manga. But basically, they tried too hard to replicate each panel of the manga and made it feel a bit disjointed. That said, I'm more worried about the animation quality. For a first episode, it had quite of number of animation inconsistencies (notably with Keima's bangs). Most other low-budget anime can at least look good through the first episode.
