The Worst anime dub you've ever seen/heard?

CardCaptor Sakura (*Shudders*) and anything by 4kids.

Are you joking? DBZ in english has to be one of if not the best dubs of anime ever.

I have to agree there, DBZ is the best dub I've ever watched. Sailormoon was okish.

But for everything else, if I have the choice, I never watch the dub version.

It's really hard to stomach that Clannad dub. I wasn't really expecting anything great when it was finally released so it's not surprising.

I think one of the more recent really bad dubs was Initial D. Besides all the name changing and slight story altercations, there's actually an episode in the second season where Itsuki ('Iggy' in this case) calls Takumi 'Cole' (referring to Koichi Iketani). It was bad enough that I stomached most of the dub just to see it and then have something ridiculous happen as a character calling another character the wrong name!

I will say either Mahou Sensei negima's or DNAngel's

She sounds too energetic and not shy, which makes the VA unsuitable to Nagisa's Part. Plus, the song in english sucks. Should've stuck with the japanese one.

There's also Sunohara, but posting his video hurts my heart. Sunohara's funny side isn't shown well. His voice sounds too high and forced. The others are fine, if they put emotion and effort :|



And yes, 4kids dub of One Piece is THAT bad. They changed almost everything. Good thing Oda started making those dirty jokes since Amazon Lily :3. Good move, Oda.

The Japanese version of Inuyasha is mind-bendingly awful.

And I guess it's hentai, but Ogenki Clinic has an amazingly bad dub(though really it just makes the whole thing better).

Definitely Bible Black, epically terrible dubbing.

Bible black and Naruto are the first I can think of. DBZ was an epic English dub.

Clannad. Oh so very much...I can't even imagine what'll happen if they decide to dub After Story.

That video has just killed off every bit of sadness and meaning that song contained. And don't even get me started on one piece...

Without the proper casting (and training), dubs are like a train wreak waiting to happen in your ears.

Agreed with most, Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie; more shocking to see slip un-flowing voices, second time I just watched it in subs (and the second movie was better dub).

Can't remember the name but it goes under the lines of Ninja Girl Kinkaru (about a couple who tries to escape Ninja Academy to live a normal live, names Fawnbell & Moonshadow) the dub fell like fake sex even after the special effects.

Wow... it is terrible, its like the VAs are extremely bored and want to gtfo.

Every hentai ever made ever that has an english dub without Dan Green.
Dan Green can save the worst of dubs.
Bible black is bad, but it is not the worse.

Recently heard the new Keroro Gunso dub...ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!! I already hated the anime version that they made that is totally crap and is a disgrace to the manga, but the dub makes it even WORSE!!!!
