R.I.P._TOONAMI (-_-)

Spoiler:
I looking around fakku n Im see no discussions about toonami's last broadcast. Now, I know that I just join fakku this year, and probably this topic was already brought up; but I want to know your thoughts/feelings about this television disaster. My thoughts on this topic is that the toonami's last broadcast was the sign of the end(not the real world ending, the end of the anime world in the US n probably the world. Well, probably not the end of the anime world for the rest of us who know anime, but a slowdown for new blood to the anime world).

[size=10]Lol, I haven't watched Toonami in years, literally. But based on all the talk (there was, indeed, another thread similar to this one) Toonami has become horrible and gone down the drain. I don't know why I did, but I stopped watching Toonami a while back.
I would watch it when the usual shows that aired on it included:
Rurouni Kenshin
G Gundam
Dragon Ball Z
And Yu Yu Hakusho
There may have been more but I don't remember right now. I liked all of the shows, Dragon Ball Z the least. Lol, I know people might be shocked but I was never too interested in Dragon Ball Z, though it was an okay series. I feel that the following Dragon Ball Z series were trash. But yeah, that concludes my somewhat relevant response.
R.I.P. Toonami? I guess. (Neutral)

Like HentaiElder, I too watched it back in the day when it was still awesome. Especially during the summer, I would always come inside and stop what I was doing to watch all the action. This was back when it ran for 4 hours too.
I still remember Tom's(was that his name?) 1.0-2.0 & possibly 3.0, back when they had some good shows. Side note, how many different versions did he go through?

Yeah we had a topic like this already. We showed the old toonami commercials and stuff. I'm glad that it's dead now because CN has been butchering it with new fagbot models. Also the shows haven't been good for a f*cken long time already. I liked the old days a lot better. Yeah the days when people couldn't watch original subbed animes on the internet and had to rely on toonami and what not.

I remember Toonami when it was good. I always watched G Gundam, Rurouni Kenshin, and DBZ. But it's latest shows kinda sucked.

By the end it was reduced to hateful Naruto dubs and endless Zatch Bell reruns. I knew its time was coming. I miss the days when it had first began, though. They played some good stuff back in the day before Adult Swim.

Toonami 1.0 and 2.0 had the best shows, but they started going down the drain since around '03-'04. They had the shows everyone watched, but they got rid of them for shows that made me wonder how toonami made money towards the end.
For me, Toonami died long ago, because of crappy dubs/reruns, but Tom will always have a place in my heart. R.I.P Toonami!

Toonami is also known as cartoon network back in the days right. If it was I will forever remember it as my favourite childhood TV channel. Watched Rurouni Kenshin, Cooking Master Boy, Rave among other great shows.
