Toph Vs Gaara.

Gaara would win. I would say that he has greater manipulation over sand than even the Avatar. Since you could say there are certain times when one would have an advantage over the other, it's best to compare them when they were at their greatest. It would be Toph with all the abilities she gained over the series and Gaara when he still had the Shakuku within him. That also gives Gaara another advantage over Toph in that at that point in time his mentality was much more ruthless. Where as Toph may hesitate, Gaara would probably go for a killing move more quickly. I can't really recall if Toph ever killed anyone in the Avatar series, but the longer the fight draws out, the less and less likely that Toph would win.

The arguments now makes me laugh.

By the way, Gaara was completely Awesome in The Will Of Fire.

While I root for Toph, I'm pretty sure Gaara would win in a fight between the two, he got way better control over sand than Toph. He can also fly on his sand, so Toph wouldn't even know where he is. Ofc, it depends on the terrain, Toph got the advantage if they'd fight in a place with little sand and lots of metal for example.

honestly its impossible to talk about who's stronger when these two characters are from two complete different world, thus their power leveling/scale is totally different. Every Jonin in Naruto can be the freakin Avatar with their THAT AND THIS element jutsus.

FROM A LOGICAL POINT OF VIEW , if they battle fairly on even terms Toph would win due to her dominance over various minerals and the EARTH ITSELF. But if it's in the desert, all gaara needs to do if flip the damn thing around and Toph'd be dead.

Toph...would get crushed...especially when Gaara notices she's blind, and then notices her sensory abilities. If we're talking Gaara without his gourd, and solid land though...but that would be far too crippling. In general combat? Gaara.

i don't see anything that reminds me of avatar in that picture though. it depends on what kind of terrain they are fighting on.
