Holy SHIT that was SUCH a good episode. Oh my god.
And, does anyone else agree with me Ami/Taiga with hair up kinda... blows? They both should've kept their hair down (could be due to personal preference, but even with IRL girls I prefer hair down a lot more).

actualy for me, I like it up, cuz I can really focus on there eyes(i am a sucker for athe eyes), both of them with there hair up totally does it for me(imo), thats not to say there usually hair style doesn't. imo I actually liked Ami more that way, but since I am not an Ami fan my opinion don't matter and since I love Taiga, no matter how she dresses I'll love her.
Well since I also seem to be the only one who care about this...moar Inko-chan!!

Well, they only have 5 episodes left, and they've gone through just about all the light novels. :P (They're going to finish the series on the day the final novel is released.)
Also, Hair down >>> Hair up, usually.

I actually cried when I watched this episode, haha.
I kinda liked the hair up in this episode. It was a nice little change, that made them both look more grown-up for a moment. I also liked the little singing bit too, it was cute :3

Bahhhhhhhh, would rather see Ami-chan attain happiness over the weird girl or the crazy girl. I saw that coming from episode 1 but still held out hope that he would get together with a better girl and when Ami-chan entered the picture I only watched the series because of her. Only good thing about this is Ryuuji's reaction to getting dumped. He was all "srsly? wtf omgawd" and I laughed. The only other alternate that I would've accepted was if indeed Minorin was having problems at home and that explained her erratic behavior and Ryuuji fixed them and she became more mellow.
I was hoping something like this would've happened:

Well... here's a farewell picture of Ami-chan back in her happy days:

Time to drown in my sorrows.

Indeed - and awesome episode is awesome.
What I find rally excellent about Toradora recently, is how much it's making me appreciate (re-appreciate ?) Taiga's character. She came so very, very far from what seemed yet another Kugimiya Rie tsundere in the beginning and at this point I no longer get the impression that Minori and Ami are stealing the show from her and I'm willing to accept her 'victory' in the end (nearly).
As for the other two contenders. Minorin seems to be out of the game. She will probably make up with Ryuji in the next ep reverting their status to friends but that's it. She may have a final role of giving Taiga or Ryuji some kind of final push in the end though....
As for Amin - I'm getting a bit scared about whether they give her a proper conclusion. I don't care whether she pulls her self together and lets Takasu go or snaps and confesses to him. She's an awesome and deep character (still my favorite) and yet she got the least attention of the 3 females. Right now watching her is far more painful for me than all the Taiga/Minori drama.
I initially liked the party hairstyles BTW but that didn't last. Seeing Amin and Taiga besides one another looking practically identical (apart from size, yet another size and hair color) didn't help things either.
The real fashion disaster was Kitamura though. Again.

I never was a fan of a Taiga|Ryuji matchup. I would have preferred a Ami or Minori match up seriously. I thought that both of them could keep on being good friends or helping each other.
Only thing I liked about the latest episodes is Taiga's awareness to what Ryuji really means. I've never much liked Taiga due to her bossy//disrespectful attitude to Ryuji. Seriously any other guy would have been fed up of her just a few days after meeting her. She's too High Maintenance.
Ryuji is such a nice guy I feel sorry for him and I hope the last few episodes wrap it up nicely.
I did find funny that Ryuji said how the suit was Aisaka's father and he said how it was written R.Aisaka inside...
wink wink :D

So Minorin finally rejected him, although it would have been nicer for him if she didn't have to drag it out for so long. Now it would only be natural for a Taiga Ryuuji match-up to occur, but I don't think that things can ever be that simple. He was supposed to have all these feelings for Minorin, and now that she said no, he's just going to settle for Taiga? I'd be pissed off if I was Taiga. It's all about how Ryuuji handles this situation right now, he could really screw it up badly. Not quite 'School Days' badly, but he's kind of an idiot, so I'm sure it'll be fun to watch.

I loved this episode!
And I'll be honest. I was kinda losing interest in this show but this episode brought me back!
Firstly I found it hilarious. Kitamura was great as buff shirtless Santa. Ami and Taiga singing together was funny in an ironic way. Inko-chan was awesome as usual. Ryu's mom. Pedobear is Santa. Other stuff.
I felt sad for Taiga and Minori though. Minori saw that Taiga had fallen for Ryuuji so she rejected him. Now that should've been a serious scene but him in the bear suit and falling down after saying "I got rejected by Kushieda?" made me burst out in laughter.
Seriously looking forward to next week. :D
Also, props to Minori. She really is a good friend to Taiga sacrificing her own happiness for her.

You have to remember Ryuuji's been building feelings for Taiga for a while now. He kind of hid them behind his borderline obsession of Minori. Now that she's out of the picture I think his feelings will become more clear to him. But as you said, he is stupid so maybe he won't.

Oh you are absolutely right about that, I think we all know that he was building a bit of a thing with her, but that's not really the point. How does it appear to Taiga? Does she realize that he really likes her? If Taiga was under the impression that he only loved Minorin (and I think she said something to this effect in this very episode), a sudden change of heart from him is going to seem strange, isn't it? Well, at least I think so.

Well, at least I think so.Yeah. Taiga doesn't really seem to pick up signals well so she might see it as right out of the blue. But she might be so happy that his feelings are being reciprocated that she just won't care or even think of it.
Or maybe he'll give some big confession of love about how his feelings have been building over the time they've spent together but that doesn't seem like something he'd do.

Exactly. He's an idiot, so I'm sure he'll screw this up horribly somehow. Hehe, I can't wait for the next episode.

Of course he understood, he may be an idiot, but at the very least he has been trying to understand Kushieda for a long time now. The simple fact that she said what she said and then walked away are enough to give even the most dense of people an idea as to what she meant. He's an idiot because he's in this situation to begin with. This is why Ami is pissed at him, and she has every reason to be.
