Haven't heard a thing yet. Unless that deviantart symbol is of any indication, then there's no movie.

Advent Children looked awesome, but the story made no sense whatsoever, and the movie didn't feel like the game at all. That's just the way it is. No reason to get so upset.

A movie based off of Final Fantasy VIII would be pretty cool, though an anime series or OAV series would be much better, considering the length of the story.

Final Fantasy VII was the shit. no doubt.
i just wish there were like 1-2 more fights though.

Plus, it's a movie. People aren't gonna watch how bahamut dies, battle-mode style. That would not make an impact.... in fact, it wouldn't have any impact at all with the watchers.

The story made sense to me too. But the movie's story strayed a little from the real FF7, is what I thought of it to be.

Well in march 2009 square enix is re-releasing Final Fantasy AC on Blu-Ray in Japan and there will be more extended scenes including the fight between Sephiroth and Cloud.
