A 39-year-old man named ShÅji Sakai was arrested on the same day in January as Nakatsuji was. Unlike Nakatsuji though, Sakai was not involved with the creation of the malware. Instead, Sakai was charged with uploading about 5,700 episodes from about 230 titles, including Idolmaster Xenoglossia, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and Kimikiss pure rouge, and sentenced to one year in prison (with a three-year suspended sentence) in April.

5,700 episodes x 25 (around) min each =
142,500 minutes of anime
OR
2375 hours of anime.
Now that's a lot of anime.

2375? Psh, I do that much in my sleep. No, really, I have this machine that transfers anime into my subconscious mind, so while I slept I dream my episodes. Watched all of Please! Twins that way.

Until Bandai, ADV etc starts releasing subbed episodes on the net(PPV or something) very shortly after they've been aired in Japan, guys like him will be heroes to me.

It appears that the anime community keeps taking one hit after another. Are we going to run out of HP soon?
Depending on the size of each episode and his upload speed, the man has definitely done his part in sharing with others, though there are some who disagree with his actions.
