Upotte! (bumped for OVA)

I just caught up with this today, the shootout was pretty cool, and the whole "he can only die if he was shot by another human thing" kinda threw me off, I want to see what they do with the next 2 episodes.

there's no "2 episode", episode 10 was the last.

Thats disappointing to hear.

Disappointed that this series is going to end in just 10 episodes.

Hopefully there is a second season. I feel like there is so much potential to be unlocked within this anime.

still waiting for the arrival of sniper rifles though. i can imagine pistols being babies but since they put smgs in why not add the whole bunch just for the heck of it?

i know but i wanna see more of them. also, is every AK out there in the world belongs to a bad guy? i haven't seen a friendly AK(xcept for galil)ever since they showed up. all of them are hostiles for some reason

Well considering that those AK are with the eastern block, and M16 and her gang is in the western block, I doubt there's going to be a non-hostile one.

bummer.. the series' conflict would revolve around the M16 and the AKs. at least, that's what it looks like. anywho, will there be shotguns i wonder? can't picture them being human tho DX

Edit: hokay, i watched it...saiga huh? can't say im not impressed. so anything russian made is terrorist/hostile use. all that's left to introduce are pistols, heavy mgs(they could be fatties) and...are launchers considered as guns? they got a trigger so...yeah.

setting that aside, for a sec there i thought the jap teach has SOMETHING considering he didn't get killed and the following conclusion lines "it was worth the trouble getting him teach here" but im not holding my breath for it

Although the motives of the AK gang did seem kinda dumb. Basically wanting to mindbreak the girls (or Funco, at least) to become ruthless killing machines.

Dunno why, but that schtick just doesn't really seem to resonate with me, considering that we're talking about anthropomorphic guns. The logic centers within my mind tell me that guns cannot choose their own purpose- so that kinda speech would be kinda wasted on the tool, and better suited to any potential users instead.

Ah well. Their world, their rules.

Guess I'll go find the manga. A sequel won't be showing up anytime soon.
