I Think Thorfinn will disarm her and they will talk, after that she will become his new companion and maybe he will have some romance moments with her in the future :D
That farmer girl( Gidrud) will probaly end up with Einar.
I'd want gid to end up with the finster(thats just me). Hilda is just a bleak reminder of what thorfinn has done in the past and is trying to reconcile through a more peaceful life. Not that saving a girl from revenge and hate has its merits, I really don't see her joining unless its to see his truth of being a peaceful man.
