You really should be PMing Raze instead. If you ever think of me as this knowledgeable-trustworthy someone then I can guarantee you that he knows a lot more than I do, and is much more of a critical thinker than I. But hey, he’s a busy guy or so I take... and I heard he felt trolled by how this series had concluded.

First of all I need a few clarifications concerning our friend Touya. What happens to him at the end?
For starters, he lived?

Ok so I get that he finally realised who Yuki "really" was. However I still don't know what the ending is? Did he end up with Yuuki? Is he alone?
Going by how they focused on Touya’s long-lost memories of her in the finale, Haruka and Misaki’s respective closures in the past couple of episodes prior to the last, the sisters' (Mana & Menou) moving, Yayoi's confession, Rina’s all-so-sudden farewell (her "giving-way" would not make any sense at all if it is not for her best friend's sake), and topping it all of by the "ending" where he was last seen waving to someone (calling to that person’s attention most likely), I don’t see any reason as to why he wouldn’t be with Yuki.

Also what was really the story with him and Menou? Was she just a once in his childhood that he met her and from then on she cared for him (why though). What was the reason why Yuki couldn't just go ahead and tell him what happened between them.
In the end, Menou was nothing more than a plot device and quite an ineffective one at that. She came, she saw, but never conquered... I was pretty disappointed with how her character turned out to be.
As to why though, it's the same with the girl (forgot the name), she had picked up from the streets. I believe she did say that she's the kind of person who simply cannot leave them
poor-thing alone.
As to the reason why Yuki kept silent all this time, it probably has something to do with Haruka’s intervention. As kids, you know, they couldn’t possibly have fallen for him at such an age (particularly when he was such a wuss). But taking Haruka's past obsession with Touya into consideration, it gives me plenty enough reason to say otherwise. Just think about it, having hidden the medal (of dishonor) adds up to her "character" nicely. I really cannot imagine how "infuriatingly jealous" she had possibly been with Yuki in the past.

Yuki and Haruka were friends with Touya when he was young. Two other guys came in to bully both Yuki and Haruka and Touya being scared of what could happen pisses himself. So here is where I don't get it. Yuki gives him a medal for being strong or something. Touya discards it which leads to Haruka hiding/keeping it.
Yuki and Haruka weren’t friends back then to say the least and bullies are pretty much everywhere so it’s common place to have them screw over Touya’s childhood and show us viewers how much of a wimp he already was even then. But the thing is, by wetting himself, he inadvertently drove the bullies away regardless. So basically, he still deserved some sort of recognition, which I do think was his father's idea all along. To me it seems that Yuki could be a distant relative which should explain how Touya's father "trusted" her to do his bidding by making her award his only son the "medal of dishonor" that Touya would then throw away, having felt insulted I presume... and the rest was history as we know it.
Don't you find it strange that he looks at Yuki as if she's his late wife? It may just be the hallucinations of a dying old man but still, I can't look at it in any other way than Yuki being close to family either way.

Also the ending, Rina leaving like that? She was my favourite with Mana-chan. Arrg.
Bottomline, that's why the ending sucks.

-Shinozuka
What was the need for her to try and seduce Touya, was it really only to tend to his needs so Yuki could be fine?
At the earlier part of the series, having the infamous affair with Touya was visibly due to her fears (ie stalker). The latter part, I could hardly tell. What can I say, she’s the most mysterious girl in the show. Personally, I believe that she’s a natural whore and it's likely that she got high/addicted doing
it with Touya.

Also why was did Rina tell Touya in the first season that Shinozuka could only love Yuki?
Under what context?
