Pokémon, it was ALWAYS on in the little building next to my school, stopped watching after a year, though. recently, I've been watching more and more anime.
But so far, I've only watched death note, lucky star, rozen maiden and Boku no Pico (if you can call that anime, it's 3 OAVs)
I remember renting one of the Evangelion movies from Blockbuster with a friend before I even knew what anime was. We were like, "WTF IS THIS SHIT?!" and turned it off 30 minutes in. In middle school I would come home and watch Toonami, that's probably where I developed my liking for anime.
in the words of BNL in the song one week "gotta get intune with sailor moon cause that cartoon has got the boom anime babes that make me think the wrong thing"
...i thank my local tv network for starting me...then shake my fist at them for f***in it up with cancellations and the works
When I was growing up, there wasn't a ton of Anime on in the UK. And I didn't have cable. So for me it was Digimon. Then eventually went to Pokemon, then Dragonball Z. Although I never knew they where Anime. I thought they where American Cartoons. So I was watching those for around 2 years before I knew they where Anime. My first Anime I watched that I knew was Anime was Ghost in the Shell.
Sailor moon XD That was the best thing that ever happened in my childhood then was pokemon then DBZ then Inuyasha/Megaman/Glue Genter/Cowboy Bepop/F-Zero (all those at the same time on tv)
then the first anime downloaded was Seto no Hanayome then School Rumble
