When I hear about a new series I usually use torrentdb.yi.org and search it, which turns up a few links. If not I try looking for fansub links at animesuki.com
If the series is older or licensed I sometimes look for it on BoxTorrents. They specialize in keeping up seeds of mega series-torrents and torrents of older or licensed series.

Using the groups site is good but it can be messy to keep track of them all if you aren't dedicated to a few certain ones.
I use baka-updates.com since it hosts licensed material as well. Animesuki is well formatted and all but it's a pain in the ass that it doesn't host files that have been bought for distrubtion in these parts. Baka covers that base but there are some groups that it doesn't host torrents for so I occasionally waffle in between them and animesuki (though I haven't actually used suki in a while since the current anime season isn't all that attractive to me like the fall/winter ones were).

no licensed anime.. but it's got about every un-licensed anime.
(Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, Gurran-Lagan, One-Piece, are all there as well as the less popular ones like Beck, Bartender, etc.)

Depends on whether you are downloading legally or illegally.
There are a lot of different anime hosted on veoh.com. However this site probably violates copyright laws.
