Strange - the show is getting more awesome with each episode (currently at 21) and the topic kinda died :P. Let me bring it back up - It really deserves attention !
It's like a far superior Eureka 7 for me. Gorgeous animation and sound with splendid action and a mix of adventure, romance and drama.

It doesn't even compare to Eureka! (I've watched only til ep.8 and I just wasn't able to stand it!)
I was actually planning to create Xam'd episode threads...
I also am wondering why Haru or Nakiami didn't make it to the cut in this years Motemote?
Five more episodes to go and I'm still not sure about a lot of things...
and I just can't let go of the thought that someone else is going to die in the next couple of episodes...(I certainly hope not) but ever since

We sure have some similar anime preferences don't we ? :P
And with slight yet vital differences on some aspects - even better !
(I still don't like Eureka much though :P. The surfing mechs were kinda silly and the main male protagonist got less development in 50 eps than Akiuki in 20 ... my personal opinion only :))

Eureka7's concept about mechs riding the waves(air surfing) was just plain ridiculous for me...(no offense to the fans)
and neither did I like the fact that it was about two KIDS falling in love, wtf!...give me a break! (again, no harm was meant...just my personal thoughts) 8)
In the first place, I never did intend to see it...I was just downloading the series as a favor for my cousin who asked me...and so I figure, why not give it a shot...and after 8eps...I've seen enough!

I've actually felt like re-watching Eureka Seven after I got Tip Taps Tip stuck in my head. I'll probably watch Xam'd instead if I can find a decent source.
Eureka Seven was definitely not the most amazing show I've ever seen but I enjoyed it. Probably because I like romance a lot for whatever reason.
