Your first anime or manga

MY first anime, Pokemon, Sailor Moon and such.

The earliest anime I remember watching was Dragonball. The first manga I read was a Shonen Jump Magazine, which lead me to my first series, "Hikaru no Go".

I'm not going to lie, it's a miracle I ever entered the world of hentia. My first anime was recommended to me by the biggest troll in history, and was Seikon no Qwaser, which for those of you who don't know has the main protagonist gain his powers from sucking the "holy breast milk of virgins"... Real hard for someone new to the genre to enter after seeing that right off the bat, haha. I guess my first anime I actually wanted to watch was Bleach, due to the fact that I had found the manga at my high school and rather enjoyed it. After playing around in the mainstream river, jumping from Bleach to Fairy Tail to a bit of One Piece (Never took), I entered the rest of the world, starting from Full Metal Alchemist (I call this anime the "jumping point", as it bridges well from mainstream animes to the rest of the anime world) to Ouran High School Host Club. The rest is history.

My favorite anime overall has GOT to be Clannad and Clannad After Story, and while I do HIGHLY recommend it, don't watch it without a box of tissues nearby. Many manly tears were shed.

My first anime was Naruto on Toonami (Adult Swim), while my first manga was Naruto vol. 26

Since I grew up watching PBS (Dragontales, Arthur, Between the lion, and Cyberchase) I didn't know nothing about anime .... so when for first time I had cable, I decided to watch Cartoon Network the whole day. And that's when I learned about Adult Swim and Toonami, and that's when i saw Naruto episode 30.... then the next shows was Bleach, Ghost in the Shell, Casshern Sin, and last Inuyasha..... Soooo my Saturday night became awesome.

Later on after I knew about anime, my big brother decided to take me to Borders(similar to Barnes & Nobles) in the manga section. So the first book that I took out of the bookshelves was Naruto vol. 27, however it was wrapped in plastic since it was brand new, so I decided to read vol. 26, and that's when i learned how to read manga (from right to left).

While for now I watch almost every anime that comes out every season.

Mine was the legendary Mahou Shoujo anime: Cardcaptor Sakura!!!

First Manga was Suzuka.

My first anime was the first season of pokemon.after that was the original bay blade, and then bdamon. Those are the first three i remeber, and i was a small kid at the time

The first anime i watched after fifteen was inuyasha, then bleach, then i started re watching the first season of pokemon and bdamon. I was unable to find the original bayblade at the time

My all time favorite anime.... i think ill reserve that for one i watch down the road, but i do currently watch dungeon ni religiously. To the point i have narrowed it's upload to anime freak to friday between 1 and 2 pm.

The first non h manga i remember reading is ubell blat, then assationation classroom. I have no memory of the first h manga i read.

I don't remember mine either, but if I had to pick the one that made me walk right into this it would be Rosario+Vampire, followed by Dokuro-chan, top series.

Doraemon was/is the top hit in South East Asia region. My country main TV station constantly stream this series, so my vote goes to Doraemon. As for manga, I would say Dragon Ball. My older brother subscribe to it monthly all the way to volume 42.

My first anime was Doraemon and my first manga was Mahoujin Guru Guru. I also grew up watching Dragon Ball Z and a tiny bit of GT, moved to the states, and found out that the states were just getting into Dragon Ball.
