About Weekly Kairakuten

0
Hello,

I've been following the magazine previews and I've noticed that for the months were Weekly Kairakuten has previews for, the releases are split into two groups: one group contains the releases that debuted in Japan two months prior to the preview month it's listed under and the other containing releases that debuted three months prior. (Example: The February 2020 previews have Weekly Kairakuten 2019-11 and Weekly Kairakuten 2019-12). Furthermore, the Weekly Kairakuten previews occured pretty much bi-monthly (The previews showed up on February 2020, November 2019, and September 2019).

My guess is that this is occuring because this was agreed upon by both Wani and FAKKU: FAKKU would receive the Weekly Kairakuten data from Wani on a bi-monthly basis but the data would be of releases that are two to three months old. Is my guess correct?

If this information cannot be released to the public, then that's fine. Also, I'm not complaining about a lack of Weekly Kairakuten on FAKKU (I think the amount we get per month is fine). I'm just curious.

I don't know exactly why (I handle in-house operations, not direct communication with our partners), but I know that so far we tend to get two months worth of data at a time. When we're sent the files, they're prepared for print, which from what I'm told is why they're sent on a bi-monthly basis.

As I've touched upon in the past, this has no effect on the amount of content that gets released on the site. It just means there are ebbs and flows of material internally. For instance, we're pretty much not getting any new data in March other than a 14 chapter long issue of BEAST, which means we'll likely work through most of what we currently have on our plate. However, we're getting several new magazines just as we enter April, giving us plenty to work on during the month and the next period of lull in May.

Alright. Thanks for filling me in.

I like to checking Twitter for anything about upcoming Wani Magazine releases and looking at my favorite artists Twitter accounts even though I don't understand Japanese (Google translate is helpful in this regard). So I know we have some really good Weekly Kairakuten releases coming down the road. And there's one I'm really, really, really, excited for. But it looks like we'll get that release about three months from now at minimum. Well, just like my forum signature says; I'll wait.

(But can you blame me for being excited? I mean look at this shit!
