Afterword

I saw the following image in another thread

And it sparked a little curiosity. Some of these afterword notes appear to be handwritten and some appear to be type. Who writes the handwritten ones (if they are in fact handwritten)? Why are some of them typed?

It depends on how the artist presents it to us,

Some of them are handwritten by the editor who worked on the book (who did all the English handwritten sfx etc) because the original Japanese was handwritten (just to keep the same look to it)

Some of the Japanese afterwords are typed, therefore we also find an appropriate English font to type it.

Some artist even ask for us to translate their afterword and give it back to them so they can write it in English themselves. (Key in Deep Blue Static is an example of that).
