German buyer here! I mostly bought the books on sales and I must say on the side of fakku they do a great job! On the side of the customs office you need... luck... The package going through the customs office regulary taxes about one week and in my case I must always drive to the customs office and pick up and pay the taxes there while other Germans seem to have had luck and the taxes were collected from the post man. And while I am picking up the books it depends heavily on the mood of the dude who calculates the taxes. Sometimes I get to pay 7% for mangas and sometimes 19% for porn...
If you have more questions you can pm me and we can talk in german.

Here are my examples of orders from FAKKU to Belgium:

Let Your Smile Bloom: 19,95 USD
Honey Pot Style: 19,95 USD
SHIPPING: 32,78 USD
TOTAL: 72,68 USD
TAXES: 18,96 EUR

Misdirection: 19,95 USD
Melty Maiden: 19,95 USD
SHIPPING: 32,78 USD
TOTAL: 72,68 USD
TAXES: 19,14 EUR

Kogals, Sluts, and Whatever: 19,95 USD
Summer Love Geek Girl: 19,95 USD
SHIPPING: 32,78 USD
TOTAL: 72,68 USD
TAXES: 18,27 EUR

Non Virgin: 24,95 USD
TiTiKEi: 24,95 USD
Let Loose with Lewb Boobs!: 19,95 USD
Ecchi Sketch!: 19,95 USD
SHIPPING: 55,96 USD
TOTAL: 145,76 USD
TAXES: 21,28 EUR

Heat Alert: 19,95 USD
A Healty Appetite: 19,95 USD
After School Vanilla: 19,95 USD
Pandemonium: 19,95 USD
Bashful Break: 19,95 USD
SHIPPING: 58,66 USD
TOTAL: 158,41 USD
TAXES: 22,00 EUR

Your books will be taxed at 6% if the package clearly mentions theme as "Books". Other stuff is taxed at 21% as you know.
Try to keep your total value (goods + shipping cost) under 150 EUR (converted value with a margin of error) or you'll be charged an additional import fee at about 12% iirc. If you go over the 150 EUR you total taxes (and import fee) will be about 45 to 50 EUR.

Hope this covers it. The biggest risk you'll face is that customs (read: Bpost) tend to butcher your package here in Belgium. The books could get damaged. I was lucky so far that I didn't have any damages to the books I ordered at FAKKU but some of my other past orders weren't as lucky.

As an alternative you can also check out the Archonia website. They recently got a hold of a couple of FAKKU books (not all of them and some are on preorder). As they ship from Belgium you won't have any problems with customs. If you also want the book in your digital library you'll still need to order an additional digital copy of the book at FAKKU.

why not just buy from up1 they ship to europe and it works out quicker and a mega ton cheaper

Indeed either go for Archonia or UP1.co.uk. In fact I recommend the later, because it shipped Whispers After Class earlier than Fakku themselves. Sadly outside the USA, fakku itself isn't really an option if money is a concern.

You don't get a digital copy.

That isn't even worth it. In fact it's cheaper to buy the physical release in an European store and the digital version on Fakku. Sadly it's not something Fakku can do anything about too, screw customs *angry yuropean noises*.

you're still paying 2-3 books worth importing from the US/Fakku lol.

In regards to international shipping, since I did not see it mentioned here yet. If you don't mind waiting, Fakku usually has a free shipping (including international shipping) deal on or around Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving in the U.S.). You can make a large order of books then and get the digital included in the cost. The only downside cost wise is you'd likely still be on the hook for whatever import fees and taxes your locale assesses. Though, you save more on those buying in bulk if the above examples are true. Otherwise, yeah, it is cheaper to just buy the physical books from a local vendor in your country if they carry them, and then buy the digital copy from Fakku if you want that, too.

On topic, more Hisasi is welcomed here. I don't know what content the book has yet, have not checked it all out, but if the cover and bonus stickers are any indication it should be pretty good.

While there have been free shipping promotions in the past, I would not put all my eggs in that basket. These promotions are very expensive for FAKKU to do and last time, the minimum order for free shipping was 250 USD. The threshold got reduced to $150 but, you get the picture. Those numbers are not arbitrary, it really does cost a lot of money just to get one international order out.

My point is, if these promotions are not a net positive for them, I wouldn't count on their recurrence.

That extra chapter was an exclusive bonus outside of the normal release. So that chapter will not be added to this book, much like we're unable to do other exclusive items. This sticker sheet being the exception since it was instead a limited deal in Japan.

In addition, this book was due to come out end of September, but has been pushed back a week or two due to some complications, so expect to see the book come out instead early October
