That would add to the cost of the books though. The covers on these types of books are totally different than what's in a game console DVD or jewel case just because there's a protective sleeve over the case. Even in Japan they put a piece of paper or a paper band around the nipples or naughty parts even though it's the land where you can go to the 7-Eleven and pick up a comic lo.
Which in reality it doesn't really make sense why Amazon would have a problem since the image on the website could be easily censored and he's so pocket pussies and dildos plus porn. The covers of Hentai Manga is pretty much Tamer than some of the manga or Western porn. I mean I bought crossdressing yaoi at Barnes & Noble for Christ's sake. It wasn't even shrink-wrapped I literally saw Fanboy dong Plus the funny pictures at Anime Expo and a girl on her knees with her tongue out if you kiss my driff.
amazon.co.jp takes down nearly any hentai book, censored or not.
Its clearly stated that these books are not allowed to be sold in Japan so whoever is adding them to japanese Amazon is an idiot I guess.
why would japanese language hentai be forbidden to be sold in japan lmao
that makes no sense whatsoever. maybe amazon themselves have something against hentai being sold on their platform and publishers just didn't bother to read the rules.

Forgive me if this is already a thing, but is there anyway to tell once a book has been released and ready to ship ? I would love to buy sticky lovers when it comes out but there seems to be no way of telling of when it exactly does.

The obvious/snarky answer is to preorder it now, and you'll get the email when it ships, provided you can put money down now.
But if you want a little trick that seems to work often enough, just look the book up on Amazon or a similar site, usually they have a estimated release date from my experience. I'm not sure why Fakku doesn't update their release windows more often but you get the digital right away so it's not a huge deal IMO.

The best we can do is update the forums and make an announcement on Discord. We are working to implement emails for those who opt in so if something on a wishlist becomes available it can let you know.

Will some older books be getting reprinted? Really want a copy of Tayu Tayu from yamatogawa and I can't even pick up a secondhand copy anywhere. Getting close to just ordering a copy of the censored JP tank release QQ

Yes a wishlist to send out an email as when the book is out and ready to be shipped would be great. I would pre-order books but theres always a chance I could be away when the book finally ships and wouldnt want to miss the delivery

If you are in the US you can always order it and just make sure to do a mail stoppage with USPS for while you are gone and they will hold it until you get back at your local post office

I am guessing chances are slim due to the nature of storefronts nowadays (like with covers needing to be censored), but is it even possible for Marui Maru's Cherry & Gals to ever be reprinted? Huge fan of their work, but was not in a financially stable place for quite some time. Now that I am, it's out of stock here, and I can't find it ANYWHERE online. Everywhere is out of stock. Would the fact that Marui does oneshota block this from getting a reprint? Really hope that it can come back eventually.
