Book Release Delay and COVID-19

Hey everyone, I wanted to reach out and let you all know that unfortunately Maidens of Steel's digital release will be delayed one week to March 26th while we're transitioning our entire team to start working remotely due to COVID-19. I figured this would be a good opportunity to touch base with how FAKKU is responding to COVID-19 with the ongoing shutdowns and global concern for everyone's health.

Due to declared state of emergency, it's been suggested that people self isolate and practice social distancing if you're able to work from home.
Since last week our staff has been following these guidelines and we've transitioned to everyone in production (translators, designers, editors, etc) to work remotely. We expect in the future that our online store will experience delayed shipments, but at the moment things are still shipping out to customers as expected.

We wish the best for everyone's health and hope you'll understand this delay and be patient with us during the next few weeks. As of right now I don't foresee any additional delays, but development with the virus is rapid and we plan to adjust as best we can for the sake of our employees and anyone else around us.

I understand. Health comes first. You are still working but want to be careful. My workplace is doing the same thing. I understand even more so given where your base of operations is located. Stay safe or at the very least take it easy. I am in no rush for it to come as long as it is being worked on, slower pace is not an issue to me.

At least a number of countries have already started vaccine trials, if all goes well it should hopefully be over in quick succession.

Better safe than sorry. Health takes priority. Take as much time as needed. The anticipation will just make the payoff even better. Stay safe!
