I can reassure you that we're not ignoring the results of this poll. The poll was created only a week before Anime Expo, and I don't think we planned on making any announcements related to it during the event. However, we managed to get a confirmation on the PANDRA license sooner than expected, and were able to reveal that during our industry panel. This was a last minute decision, which is why we didn't even have a forum post prepared for it.

My earlier statement still stands: we plan on publishing the winner of the poll and potentially some of the other titles. Once everyone is back and recovered from Anime Expo, you can expect a proper announcement for PANDRA, and hopefully more as long as the license is secured by then.

So then what is the point of the poll? If you can just publish more than 1 book from that list anyway is there really any need for it? Other than looking at what people are interested in, which you already have a poll for in terms of genre, there's also the likely hood that a last place vote could win making everyone who votes pointless in the first place.

I think you could try and communicate better as a team and maybe hold off on announcements until you can sort out a proper update and explanation to avoid these types of situations because this makes me feel like there is no need for people to voice their opinions.

The loud voice in this thread was the need for more non-vanilla so we announced a non-vanilla title from this poll at the convention. Once everyone is back and recovered from the event we can go more into it.

oh man, Dropout is sooooo good, im sad it hasn't won the poll. We need way more stuff like Dropout on here. I still can't get my fill of the more "hardcore" stuff on this site.

But the demon lord book gets picked up too as it won the pool, right?

We've also released more non vanilla books in the last year then we've had in previous years.

I thought the poll was about whitch book to publish first either way Jacob and Fakku team are working hard to get us what we want inch by inch. Soo dont dont give up on the polls.

And the poll is now closed! We'll be announcing the winner soon, just have to talk with Kill Time Communication about a couple things.

Appreciate you getting us stuff from KTC. Excited for some good diversity here. Just hope Dropout is still a possibility in the future. It'd be a shame for that not to get the Fakku treatment as well. I'll be at AX 2019, and hope to hear more exciting surprise announcements like these at your industry panel then!

Maaan, its cool to get a bonus book an' all but it seems kinda whack to get the third place book rather than the second. Especially with the lack of darker material as is. :(

Still, my thanks to the whole Fakku team for the work they do. Any h-manga is better than no h-manga. And the production quality is always top-notch!

Have to agree. Picking the third over the runner-up is weird. I still hope this particular fan no hitori book will be released in the future.

Yeah I've read that Jacob. Despite being salty about it that's all I had to say, not going to be a little whiny kid over a bit of smut :p. I'll just hope all these books get released in the future.

I'm a fan of the ero anime version of Pandra, as well as Residence of Obscene Art. Any chance you could pick the ero anime of those up, too?

I feel ya. The artist's work is great but I never see it being a hit -_-

So its been quite awhile, can we expect anything of the two titles that didn't get anything?

Nothing to announce at the moment. We only set out to do the winner of the poll initially, and then decided to do an additional title. We might do the other books from this poll at some point, but there's no guarantee that we will.

RIP Dropout I guess, got its release stolen by Pandra

I'm not exactly in agreement with Badej that PANDRA "stole" the release of Dropout in that a second release from the poll was by no means a sure thing. However you also said:

And keep in mind that this poll is for you to "decide what we publish next." We never stated that we'll only do the winner, and the entire result will be taken into account for future licensing decisions.

Doing only a second title that was included in this poll requires that the second license be the runner-up in the poll if "the entire result will be taken into account for future licensing decisions". Right now it looks like the poll is being considered meaningless for anything other than the winner. Things would of course be different if Dropout is licensed (then the top three titles in this poll would be licensed), but it sounds like that isn't the case yet.

Sorry if I'm putting you on the spot with this; I know that negotiations may not have allowed for a different outcome at the time. However putting up a poll, saying you'll take the entire result into account, then failing to do so after acknowledging the winner had an unfair advantage doesn't seem right.

The results of the entire poll is being taken into consideration, but that doesn't mean we'll limit ourselves to the titles in the poll. I'm sorry if anything that was said gave that impression, but that was never the intention. The only promise we ever made was to publish the winner of the poll, My Bride is the Demon Lord!?

Furthermore, the results of the poll naturally includes the vote, but also the feedback received in this topic. We took much of that into account for our second poll, which I think had a much better presentation and reception thanks to everyone's feedback here. We learned a lot about how to conduct polls, and we'll refer back to this topic again for future licenses, be that one of the remaining books or brand new titles.

Finally, it's worth mentioning that even if we decide to publish more books from this poll, it wouldn't happen anytime soon. We just released the winner, and before we consider any other titles, PANDRA has to come out first (currently slated for a May release date). The next poll book to get a release—again, if there is one—probably wouldn't happen until next year, meaning an announcement is still months away.
