Focus on the digital store makes it hard to buy physically

Hi, just to front load this post with the fact I'm a huge fan of what you guys are doing, the translation work is great and honestly the print quality is second to none.

However, it really feels like physical books are a secondary focus over the digital product as far as the purchase experience goes.
It's hard to easily see what's in stock, the divide between paperbacks, books and boxsets feels unnecessary and the split of merch and books into two stores means that it's hard to justify small purchases as an international customer.

The amount of times I've held back on purchasing due to the shipping making a smaller purchase unjustifiable absolutely overwhelms the amount of actual purchases I've made. This goes double for merch, which honestly I just want to buy with the books at the same time.

The US customers might not feel the impact of the shipping costs, but I assure you we in Europe certainly do!

After all, whilst digital is nice, there are those of us that prefer to have physical media.

Nice collection!

I agree with a lot of your complaints. About the cost of shipping in Europe, I think the issue is somewhat alleviated by the fact that you can buy the books from the likes of Amazon or Book Depository where you won't have to pay much mind to shipping costs. (Still a bummer though since Fakku seems to have books stocked that other retailers do not.)

I know how you feel but like the other poeple say try bookdepository, United publication and amazon.
When i buy from Fakku site i always think in my mind "the delivery cost is like the add-on price for the digital version U_U" and that make all more acceptable.
But yeah i think i spent like 1000$ on Fakku and like 400$ was only the shipping.

At least, if you spend more than 100$-150$ in the store give us a free month trial of Fakku Unlimited, we deserve it.

I love the work that FAKKU is doing in bringing us these works uncensored and in digital and physical formats.

But I'm the type that if I choose I prefer more physical works, I love looking at my bookshelf and seeing that collection of manga titles you've waited so long to have and feeling proud to say it's finally mine.

And unfortunately one of the things that most harms collectors depending on where they live is without a doubt the shipping, I already have a considerable number of FAKKU books, but due to the shipping price and exchange rate it makes me buy more of these works by AMAZON than by the FAKKU website.

It's kind of hard to get cheaper shipping prices to Europe Asia and outside the US because small stores don't have the pulll to get discounted rates like Amazon. They're reliant on the standard shipping prices charge by the USPS or FedEx UPS Dhl Etc.

That's why the books are so by European book stores online and Amazon itself. Trust me I understand the pain of foreign shipping. Because it's the reverse of Americans and Europeans for Japanese Goods. Sans vat and custom charges

Yeah, shipping to Canada is painful. Amazon.ca doesn't carry all of the books that FAKKU offers either, so I can only grab a few from there. The rest I try to bundle with as many as I can at one time (to save a bit on shipping), since the cost of shipping just a single book exceeds the cost of the book itself.

I'd prefer to get all of my books directly through FAKKU (for the added benefit of getting a digital copy on top of it all), but I just can't feasibly do it since the cost would be too much. :(
