While you are correct that there is still quite a backlog of untranslated chapters, it has to be noted that the Girls forM magazines got discontinued last year.
Vol. 20 is the last one of the series.
So I assume we probably won't get any more chapters, even though Fakku hasn't even started on Vol. 17-20.

It became pretty clear that when they picked up Dascomi, Aoha, and Weekly Kairakuten, the old idea of a rotating magazine slot was dead. They've said multiple times that 1) Girls forM underperformed relative to what they were hoping and 2) Licensing older magazines is significantly harder work than picking up new releases. It just doesn't make monetary sense for them to dip into the Girls forM backlog.

That said, if you want to support a smaller publisher who can afford to take on more niche stuff (in part by charging more), you should check this out.

We released five backlog issues of Comic Bavel last year (2017-01 to 2017-05). No magazine is off the board until we publicly announce that it's dropped.

Speaking of content that seems to have been queued indefinitely, is there still any possibility of us getting doujin works from RUBBISH Selecting Squad? When NTRĀ² was cancelled, it was mentioned that FAKKU was looking at bringing over doujin works from RUBBISH Selecting Squad.

I know that G4M got discontinued last year but FAKKU mentioned that they have a backlog to the past issues but i dont see any movement there.

why should older magazines be significantly harder?? you know that FAKKU have the license for G4M? (at least they said so)

glad to hear that but to see some movement from time to time would be great. a whole year is a lot of time.

Sorry if my post came off as "I know how Fakku works better than Fakku staff themselves", but when the rotating magazine slot was first announced, it seemed like Girls forM and Koh were the two in scope for that, and Fakku hasn't started working on a new volume of either of those since 2019. It looks like Shitsurakuten is back to monthly though, so will that affect how many magazines from the back catalog you're able to license?

https://www.fakku.net/forums/books/magazine-status-update-2018 there's a whole section explaining why older magazines take extra effort to license

It's kinda sad to see that you release more and more new stuff will it be manga or magazines and the G4M is still waiting for the backlog.....
will we ever see something new from G4M?

Just chiming in because I also love Girls for M and would like to see some more translations
