[Hinasaki Yo] Whispers After Class

In early summer of 2014, Jacob contacted me out of the blue one day, asking which title I would choose from Wanimagazine's library if I could turn any into an official English release. I picked the at the time newly released debut book from Hinasaki Yo. A lot of things changed over the next few months and we ended up going with different titles for the first FAKKU Books releases (as I'm sure most of you know). However, when we picked up Kairakuten BEAST and I started translating it, I was once again reintroduced to the artist. It has now been three years since we began publishing books and when I found out that the artist had a third book on its way it felt appropriate to bring things full circle and finally give a Hinasaki Yo book a proper release for the rest of the world to enjoy!

The artist's latest book just came out in Japan less than a month ago, and in contains stories originally published from the very end of 2015 until early 2017, giving it a fairly even split between new and familiar content here on FAKKU. All in all there's 12 chapter, five of which you've seen before through magazine releases, and it all comes with a generous splash of color with over 20 color pages in total. Look forward to this release coming out in early fall!

Great story and great choice! But I must say I think "Whispers of Desire After School" like it's written on the sample is a better title than "Whispers After Class". It simply sounds nicer...

Well, Hinasaki Yo's artwork _is_ criminally sexy. So, how can I say no to that? :)

On a side note though, the announcement post for this should probably make it clear that clicking on the image takes you to this thread. _All_ it has is the title of the book and an image - not even the author's name. And since it (sadly) didn't occur to me to click on the image, I had to dig around in the forums to find this thread to even find out what the book was, let alone stuff like when it's being released.
