My copy of Renai Sample finally arrived in the mail.

Angels sang hallelujah as I opened the package and indulged my senses.

The clarity.
The smoothness.
The smell.

I have held many books, but not many match the quality that Renai Sample possesses.

Fakku, you have my undying loyalty. I will continue my role as the patron of lovely books of high quality print. Puni Kano, and perhaps many more, will make my wallet lighter. This, I swear.

TL;DR, if the books will always be this good, shut up and take my money.

The book is great! I'm so happy it's here and I was giggling with joy when I started opening it. And then I noticed one problem.



The corner was damaged. It wasn't really anyone's fault, but it's just a little detail that sinks my heart. Other than that, super awesome.

I notice that on mine too, but to a bit lesser extent. A super minute detail that's easy to ignore. The rest of the book overshadows it by 99.9%, as I am more distracted by the printing quality.

Yeah the print quality is what's going to last. I take care of my stuff, but honestly if you're actually going to read them (I do), then they're going to end up with minor wear and tear no matter how careful you are, it just comes with act of handling them.

I'd put a minor blame on the mailman for the damage. Mine arrived with no damages whatsoever and is in perfect condition.

and im putting full blame on my mailman cuz its clear to me that he/she tried to shove it in a little box thats clearly not big nuff - .-''

Mines just arrived and I'm smiling giggling with excitement but.. now I cant decide if I am going to open it .. or leave it sealed :(

yeah, mine just showed up and I decided to take it out of the shrink wrap. Excellent quality, well worth the price. I'm actually happy I ordered it and will probably order more.

Just got mine in the mail - well worth the wait! The book is nice and big (same size as the larger Project H releases like Love on the Job), the paper quality is great (it's actually white!), and all the color pages are here and look awesome. If I had one complaint, it's that I don't want to remove the poster b/c it might damage the book.

Congrats Fakku on your first physical release! I was holding off on pre-ordering the next wave of books until this one arrived, but now I'm sold!

I also wanted to take out the poster because I feel like it should be out in the open but decided against it for fear of ruining this masterpiece.



I would have probably shared the same fate as your copy if mine hadn't arrived on a Sunday rather than the Monday it was supposed to.

Yea my book was damaged too, or rather, the dust jacket was. It was a result of the shrink wrap being too tight. The damage isn't too big of a problem for me, but I'm sorry to hear that your book was damaged too.

My package contained 3 copies of the invoice - I guess that was just an oversight, because there is no need to print three copies. ^^

I'm also astonished that the mail man managed to put the package inside the mail box - gladly the damage on the book itself is not severe, but noticeable (wrinkled dust jacket).
