Hi I had gone to Barnes and Noble and noticed a volume of Nana & Kaoru vol 1 now instead of a dust jacket it has a fully printed on front cover with french flaps similar to that of Denpa releases.
I have yet to start picking up the series and I was just curious as to how many volumes so far have already made the transition to this style of cover?
Assuming its going to be hard to find volume 1s in the wild with the dust jacket cover at this point, and noticed volume 6 that just came out definitely has the dust jacket cover so might hold back until it also gets the Denpa style cover with the french flaps.

That's not a new change that's how it originally came out back when it was pre-ordered for me at least. Dust covers really only will put on the fuck who books hentai stuff. Even the kuma books didn't have dust covers I think. I'm not really able to check since all my books are in storage bins in a storage place until the new house is built.

Are You sure You saw Na & Kaoru vol. 1 and not new series called Black Label or something? Maybe the sequels dont have Dust Jacket.

Black label hasn't even came out yet in physical form but I'm 99.9% sure volume one of the OG series didn't have a book cover and had French flaps.

The first editions of Nana & Kaoru 1-6 have jackets - as we reprint them the 2nd editions will have french flaps. This decision was Nana & Kaoru was our first book series to not be shrink wrapped due to it not being required, and we've found that through transport and display on bookshelves in stores they can get quite damaged. The second editions will all have french flaps and going forward whenever we publish a series that does not require shrink wrapping they will be french flaps to preserve the quality of the books!

That's weird then. Because I pre-ordered all six and I remember that volume three to five didn't come shrink wrapped. (Were bubble Mailers) I also noticed when I went to Barnes & Noble right after volume 1 was released and they didn't have book covers. I'll take a picture of volume six when it comes to me because I can't access my storage lot witches we're on my non accessories are stored right now. ( hour away and I can't drive cuz I'm blind)
